RIFLEMAN'S JOURNAL - MARCH 2020
The World Sucks
A couple times in the past few days I've referred to a thing I heard on the radio, that the World Health Organization sounds like it's discouraging realistic measures to prevent epidemics. Michael G. now sends "WHO is worse than useless. Only those who acknowledge that took timely effective action."
Followed by, "Campus authoritarians hate exposure. Tyrants always do." "...[T]his professor is actually tagging me online to his friends, to his followers, to go and harass me." And that's what you're going into soul-crushing debt for.
Michael then asks, "Isn't this how you lost your last working vehicle?" Yes, struck from behind by some entitled jerk in a shiny new Audi. And of course the insurance company screwed me after paying thousands of dollars over the years at the implied point of a government gun. Spent the last three-plus years clawing my way back to a point where I might possibly consider getting another cheap beater, just in time for the state to raise registration fees and probably tighten requirements for their DEQ revenue-scam too. May their whole corrupt and illegitimate system and everyone who's a part of it all burn in Hell.
With, "College progressives believe in the magical law of contagion." Just as some bigoted anti-self-defense perverts believe in eee-vill gun rays casting dominion over the sooouls of men.
And, "Socialism and health care: The capitalist may only care about your money and not you, but at least he does care. The socialist doesn't even care about that."
Michael sends yet another Immigrant Contributing to Society and it sounded so familiar I wondered if I'd already linked it but no there really are that many illegal immigrant child-rapists getting repeatedly deported and released and returning for a brand-new EBT card full of their victims' parents' taxes.
"Mainstream" media are all pathological liars and also psychotically ignorant.
Yet again I predict suicide bombings.
Speaking of psychosis....
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends again with Boeing and software. "They were too busy sponsoring Al Sharpton."
This sort of thing is happening right here in this horrible place. Every day at work I drive past truly dozens of blue-tarp encampments, heaps of garbage, and screaming-crazy-sidewalk-people. One of my stops takes me right through the official Skid Row. I should take video.... Remember a few weeks ago the trash were trying to set up a tent right outside the hovel's door. Drunken potheads are loitering and littering and building the occasional shantytown fifty meters from this keyboard probably as I type. And it's been made very clear whose side the police and government are on.
Thought: I don't want to live in a John Ringo novel, but I'd rather live in a John Ringo novel than in a Stephen King novel. At least Ringo's characters get to shoot back. Which kind of segues to,
In Lighter News
Many times in these pages I have said that FABBERS will CHANGE the WORLD. Michael G. sends, all the worlds.
And then I got out of bed and
went back to work.
COMMIES AREN'T COOL
Bringing back prohibition in Ohio.
Michael G. sends "Another look at how the Coors killer doesn't fit MSM narrative."
Which segues to
"Warren has an especially opposite opposites day: Fight Coronavirus by Leaving Border Open." Followed by
"Interesting quarantine call for Sen. Murphy. While funny, if he did carry coronavirus from Iran to the Senate it is too late, and it is long enough past that he would no longer be infectious. And the people he would have had closest contact to while infectious would be Dem legislators, staffers and Deep State embeds. Test him for antibodies, leak that he did have it in the past and watch them all freak out."
Michael then sends, "This is true about all progs, not just Bloomberg." Control.
With, "Obama holdover flew in corona patients on his own authority." "President Trump had been told that nobody with the coronavirus would be flown to America. The State Department decided to do it anyway without telling him...." There's a word for that. And let me repeat this visual aid because it's not paranoia if they really do hate us and fantasize about murdering us:
The place where Finland used to be at taxpayer expense of course.
To which dot Michael G. connects "Hit and run assault by man with interesting name."
Don't Go to College, Where Free Speech Goes to Dietm.
Hey remember when fears of children being indoctrinated with a gay agenda were dismissed as "paranoid" and "homophobic"
But they wonder why their ratings are down.
A reader sends: 'Companies are calling me to set up an interview, then just before it's scheduled, there's an awkward phone call in which they tell me, "well, there are gaps on your resume," yes, because people aren't willing to hire me due to the gaps in my resume--illegal aliens, felons, addicts, and the mentally ill seem to have no difficulty finding work, but I'm not good enough. And "this is a junior position and we think you're overqualified. You wouldn't be a good fit. If we get a senior position..." which means, "go away, old man." "We were rilly rilly impressed with your skills. But. We were rilly, you know, like, looking for someone who could, you know, like, communicate with the Millenials, you know, like, someone who can, you know, like, relate to the kids, and, you know, like, speak their language, because we have a, you know, like, rilly rilly youthful, high-energy workplace culture, and, you know, like, you wouldn't fit in here." They won't send this in an email, of course, because they know age discrimination is illegal, of course, but age discrimination is also almost impossible to prove under US law and I'd likely die of old age before the American court system could reach a conclusion anyway, because these cases typically take decades to finish. I have read the depressing statistic that white males over the age of fifty who find themselves unemployed on average take a year and a half to find another full-time position. I am beginning to believe it. I am so frustrated that I have no words for it. I'm applying for part-time jobs parking cars and getting back nothing. I can't get a job pushing around carts in the parking lot at supermarkets, either, and I thought the only qualification for that was a pulse. They hire ex-cons, illegal aliens, and people with Down's Syndrome, but I'm not good enough.' Which I have also pondered. At least I'm not working next to morons and criminals for the time being, and am back into the relative solitude and autonomy of courier driving, which appears to be the work I hate least, but there's this Damoclesian sense that it could all go away at any moment.
And then this happens.
Codrea observes an anniversary, and a birthright abandoned.
Immigrants Contributing to Society, Vibrantly
Michael G. sends "Thoughts on ammo for a Luty style SMG: I was watching some videos by TAOFLEDERMAUS about non-spin stabilized projectiles. It got me thinking about Luty based guns that use unrifled tubing for barrels. It would probably be a good precaution to come up with a projectile that has a shape that can self stabilize without spin, has good enough accuracy with spin, feeds reliably and can be easily and cheaply made in quantity. The net effort and resources consumed over that of a conventional bullet would have to be less than that of rifling the tubing barrel. Something in principle like this skeletonized Diablo, but put a plastic collar around the shaft. Imagine something like a .380 bullet with a stem ending in a flat plate of bore diameter with a .32 plastic washer around the stem filling the space between the plate and the base of the bullet. The washer supports the stem and plate but being smaller diameter leaves a lip to produce a stabilizing base shock wave at supersonic speeds and being less dense moves the center of gravity forward of the center of pressure for sub sonic stabilization." He shortly follows with, "More thoughts on Luty ammoL This video on home recycling polyethylene. Picture a stepped cylindrical mold split in half. The narrow portion is around .32 caliber, with a slot slightly above the bottom that holds a brass or zinc washer with an OD around .355. The wider portion is around .355. The washer is slid into the slots of the two halves and they are secured together. The molten plastic is placed in the open end of the mold. A plunger with a recess in the end that holds a 00 buck shot is pressed into the open end of the mold. The molten plastic is forced through the hole in the washer and fills the open space, creating a plastic rivet to secure the washer. At the other end the plastic molds around the buck shot creating a half jacket. Mold dimensions would probably need to be increased to allow for how the plastic expands at high temperature. Of course a factory could crank these out via injection molding with no problem."
More Constitutional Carry action in Tennessee. Which at this point appears to be for state residents only, like Wyoming, Idaho, and North Dakota, but still.
Continuing Second Front action in Occupied Washington and as always I demand jail time or a noose for any hypocritical thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife, and for any prosecutor-persecutor or unstable-freak-in-black-robes who upheld such bigotry.
Increments in Iowa.
Codrea observes a response to the entertainment rot.
MidWestReader sends range observations: "The only new thing in evidence that was of interest was an HK USP 9mm with the 'flat dark earth' frame and night sights, for $599. I was told later it sold within a day or two. The USP in 40, I have read, often cracks its polymer frame somewhere up past the 10,000 round mark, but the USP in 9mm is enormously overbuilt. Also a bit thick and blocky and sharp-cornered for discreet carry, but all engineering involves tradeoffs. The magazine only holds fifteen rounds, but I also notice the USP's grip frame is actually a bit short and the extra length of the 'Jet Funnel' mag well mod is not unwelcome, at least for my hands, and the lengthened mags to fit the 'Jet Funnel' hold eighteen. I wonder whether you could stick a Mec-Gar +2 bottom on them and make them into twenty-rounders. Maybe you'd need a heavier mag spring to lift the taller and heavier stack of cartridges reliably and push up the slide stop on the last round."
Some problems present their own solutions. Which makes me ponder, this coronavirus thing might be good in the long term, by wrecking communist China's economy even more than Trump already has, reducing our dependence on their slave labor, stimulating the restoration of our domestic manufacturing capabilities and creating even more jobs right here at home.
And then Desert Hermit Joel happens.
MASSIVE VOTE FRAUD
And other kinds.
Think about the kind of people who don't want us to have guns.
And never forget they want us all dead.
YES DISNEY STAR WARS DELIBERATELY SUCKS IT WAS ON PURPOSE.
Michael G. sends, "You will take our s***-sandwich course, or else! A Princeton student group is upset many grad students don't take diversity courses and so want to make it mandatory." Marching into the classroom at bayonet-point. To which dot connect the complaints that white males aren't spending our money to watch their racist sexist garbage in the movie theaters.
Followed appropriately by, "Emory U student paper: Free speech is only the left allowed to do or say anything they want." '“Only threats of immediate bodily harm should permit universities to assert their authority over protesters,” The Wheel argues.' OH YOU MEAN LIKE THIS?

From the world of ivory towers, Michael G. sends "Parties are more important than quarantines. I'm reminded of the motive for the initial murder in The Mirror Crack'd."
Followed by, "Danish govt. shocked, shocked that foreign invaders don't follow the laws and culture of the invaded country. I guess we need to hear from Tommy Lee again, until enough Danes wake the hell up to actually do something about their self-made problem."

Followed by, "Bernie is shocked, shocked! that his bros behave badly."
Then, speaking of cynicism and sociopathy, "Pelosi delayed C19 funding so DNC ads could attack GOP over C19 funding. An especially blatant version of Dems attacking GOP because of Dem actions." Where have we seen that before.

Potential increment in Tennessee. In a sane country such things wouldn't be necessary because kleptomaniacal sociopaths in government costume wouldn't exist in the first place....
Michael G. sends "New bridge building technique. Hopefully no diversity hires were involved, but it looks good."
In my fictional future history and particularly in the series I hope to conclude in the next few weeks, I contemplate what I call the "reserve privateer", a civilian ship capable of military operations and given some recognition or benefit from government for maintaining readiness to do so. Not a new idea. Consider also the most recent Skype Show.
Demographic Warfare at fifteen dollars an hour
Yesterday it was a United States Senator inciting mob violence against Supreme Court Justices and now Michael G. sends "Yes, they do hate us and want us to die." Right out loud in as many of their own words.

In TrumpKeepsHappening news, Michael G. sends "San Fran angry! ICE arrests illegals in front of court house. As tax time approaches, remember, peasant, you're not paying "your" "fair" "share".
Michael G. sends "A reminder that Sanders was Mini-Me compared to Kerry. W left us in a hole during his second term but it would have been worse if he hadn't won his second term." Which I was pondering at the time.
Followed by, "Honoring any white person is racist." Okay fine. Go back to your mud huts and starvation and plague. And see how long it takes you to get there without our taxes.
It's not paranoia if there really is a concerted and deliberate effort to demonize my demographic.

Michael G. sends "New Cosmos series starts this week. They are calling it Cosmos: Possible Worlds. I guess Cosmos: Beating a Dead Horse wouldn't be very effective marketing. Hard to believe it has already been six years since the last one."
Followed by, "It takes government to adapt to a crisis. Sorry, I meant 'It takes government to prevent adapting to a crisis'." In my courier work I cross a certain light-rail track four times a day. Sometimes I'm there just as the "train" is. With one car. With only one passenger I've ever seen. After how many dozens of millions of tax dollars collected at the implied point of a government gun to build the thing while seizing property and disrupting business.

Near a month ago when I posted Aurora, part 127, I expressed dissatisfaction that it was shorter than I wanted. Well, part 128 went long so I chopped some off the top of 128 and tacked it onto the bottom of 127 so go re-read it now.
For over a decade I have been writing Aurora, set in a universe I have been building for more than twice as long. As this series nears completion I reflect on the many influences on my creation. The Prophet Heinlein of course, and his contemporaries like Asimov and Clarke and H. Beam Piper, predecessors like E.E. Smith, the following generation like Niven and Pournelle and McCaffrey, current creators like Weber, Drake, Ringo, Kratman, Correia, Bujold. The largest franchises in the genre, Star Wars, Star Trek; perhaps lesser-known but highly important products like Uchuu Senkan Yamato, and naturally Firefly, to which I conceived Aurora as an opposite - a ship that wasn't always falling apart, a crew that wasn't always desperately struggling to survive... an exercise in personal escapism, imagining an existence less endlessly depressing than my own, a world, worlds, where innocent people could live in freedom without begging permission or paying extortion. There are others, from other fields, such as the Prophet Kipling, whose skill at painting pictures with words is perhaps unsurpassed to this day; Robert E. Howard and Edgar Rice Burroughs, C.S. Forester's Hornblower saga (which I only read one or two books of, but the A&E series of eight films was well executed, as was Peck's decades earlier, despite him being a commie); swashbuckler movies of the 1930s and '40s and '50s, not least with Errol Flynn. A lot of stuff went into this. I hope it doesn't suck. Expect the next chapter very soon, and the ending, mostly complete already, shortly after.
And then I start on the next series.
Michael G. sends, "The answer to every crisis is always socialism."
More money is not always the answer Trump godsdammit. "Indeed, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appears to have approached this recent coronavirus spending bill as a liberal Santa Claus measure. She reportedly tried to sneak abortion funding into the coronavirus bill, along with a whole host of long-lasting reforms that will make it harder for businesses to function."
The next time someone calls me "racist" I'll try real hard to remember that minorities never commit hate crimes. Eight years of Obama led to this. You've seen it, haven't you? The arrogance. The sense of entitlement. Black supremacist racists demanding special treatment.
Not unrelated, Michael follows with, "Labour Brit who coined 'Islamophobia' kicked out as Islamophobe. Perhaps Dr. Guillotine has a comment?"
To which dot connect, "One way of understanding California is simply to invert traditional morality."
No really demographic warfare in their own racist and segregationist words
"The Times explicitly sought to diminish America’s actual founding in 1776 by changing the focus from 1776 to 1619." And they wonder why their readership is down.
DISNEY STAR WARS IS NOT CANON
"All this because of a contagion that has, so far, killed fewer Americans than gunfire in Chicago."
Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends "Scare tactics - irresponsible reporting and inaccurate headline: 'Italians over 80 "will be left to die" as country overwhelmed by coronavirus' screams the headline, but if you actually read the article, it turns out that this is a policy proposal, yet to be approved by the Italian authorities, that would be used if the country’s healthcare system is overwhelmed to the point of not being able to handle cases, which, most importantly HAS NOT HAPPPENED YET, according to the article, despite what the media around the world has been screaming. Even more noteworthy is that Italy’s so-called 'excellent health infrastructure' has only 5090 intensive care beds for a population of 60 million. New York State alone has more than that for a population half that of Italy." First response: governmenthealthcarewhatcouldpossiblygowrong. Second response: massive overstocks of hand sanitizer on clearance across the country three months from now, if not sooner.
To which dot Michael G. connects, "Will quarantine-caused distance learning lead to more balanced classes? Either through profs and TAs toning it down, or revealing themselves to the people actually paying the bills? I'll believe it when I see it. I could see demands that since home is now college, campus gun free rules should be extended to home."
Followed by even more panic, and as if on cue "Capitalism and profiteering. Or, do you believe in free markets or don't you? The comments are good too. I thought it was an excellent point that there is a moral difference between the profiteer who brings in outside additional supplies and one who helps create the shortage in the first place, but trying to prevent the latter has worse consequences than the profiteering did. Also the latter encourages the former and increased supply results in lower prices. There is also a good short parable about three women in jail because of pricing." During the Obama years I sold a couple bricks of Remington Thunderbolt .22LR for $35 each. Just a few years earlier they were in a coupon book for $8.99.
And there are other thoughts. To which Larry Correia adds 'I just watched an actual PhD scientist medical doctor get into an argument about how diseases spread with a lady who sells herbal soap for a living, and she told the doctor to “get educated”.' (Also, "We could fire 1/3 of the government tomorrow and all it would do is open up more parking." (And then this happens.))
(I was filling in at work today, and after, I stopped for some groceries. There is panic buying. Empty shelves at WinCo, which is one of the iconic American never-run-out-of-stuff, see-how-communism-has-failed-you supermarkets. Toilet paper, yes, and related products like paper towels and picnic napkins, but also all the fresh meat, and much of the frozen. I asked if the fresh meat was being pulled and was told no, people are buying it. Fine, I have rather a lot on hand, frozen chicken, frozen shrimp, frozen vegetables, cans of stuff too, even some gallons of tap water taking up space in the refrigerator in repurposed apple cider jugs. And at least a few pounds of rice. People are stupid and the media is evil for drumming up this panic. Three months from now this will be over, Old Media's ratings will go down even further as more people see them for the liars they are, and whole genres of internet memes will be obsolete. And if more people get into prepping as a result, well, fine.)
(Speaking of Old Media, "Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.")
Michael then observes the pathological-liar millionaire-communist was a "victim of sexism... low expectations." "She's been assured that she's entitled to success -- and that any failures to achieve said success are the fault of men." To which dot connect yesterday's observations on black supremacists, indoctrinated for decades and generations that everything wrong with their lives is white people's fault.
Michael adds, "Canadian green energy grows jobs! In Texas." "Your" "fair" "share".
Oh look yet more child molesters on the political left.
Followed by, "Medical schools should deny applicants who object to provide abortion, assisted death. Only those who vill follow orders wanted." Which campus ideological warfare segues to,
"Joe Biden's Record on Campus Due Process Has Been Abysmal. Is It a Preview of His Presidency?" To which dot connect,
"Harvard Debuts Anonymous Online Title IX Reporting Form. Go Team Snitch." And as if on cue,
"Bias Response Teams Silence Civic Debate. Feature not bug."
And of course, "University bans taxpayer advocate because of unspecified ‘safety and security’ fears." Can't let the peasants think about "your" "fair" "share".
As for prepping, Michael sends, "A Lot of People Are Finding Out You Can’t Just Buy a Gun Online." I'm reminded, not for the first time, of a Joe Bob Briggs routine from MonsterVision on TNT around the time of the Rodney King riots. Something like, Hollywood actors were calling up Charlton Heston to borrow a gun, and he said, "Why don't you go down to the store and buy one?" and they answered, "Well, there's this waiting period," and he said, "Yes. You voted for it. Click." And then Jane Fonda's husband fired Joe Bob not long after.
Never forget they hate us and want us to die. Remember how California decriminalized the spreading of AIDS.
Yes, padawan, Disney Star Wars really does suck. Comment: "Seems to me diversity has come to mean untalented and inexperienced."
Aaaaand so does most other "entertainment". Those are some hours of my life I'll be spending on other things.
Aurora, part 128, penultimate I know what that word means chapter, is online. Featuring the tragic-and-glorious death of a main character, much of which I had written years ago. Don't forget to re-read part 127, which was extended the other day. If you find this fictional future history entertaining, please consider a charitable donation through the PayPal button at the top or bottom of most pages on this site. Thank you. The final chapter may be delayed a bit after all, as I find myself having to design an entire new starship, and I haven't even started designing the one after that.
Freaky-creepy light traffic all day.
Starting to loose some work,
as some places panic and close.
But hey if you wanna put on your tinfoil hat maybe that's not paranoia either.
Because it's not paranoia if they really are lying to us.
Never forget they always lie.
This just in: People are still stupid and Old Media is still evil.
"But beware... the socialist side! 'Fairness' - 'equality' - communism are they! Once you start down the collectivist path, forever will it dominate your destiny!"
The Left: "Get out of your cars! Ride mass transit! Re-use shopping bags! Save the environment!"
Also the Left: "Stop crowding together! Sanitize everything! We're all going to diiieeee!!"
FFS KNOCK IT OFF THIS THING IS NOT GOING TO KILL US ALL.
More than seven years ago I noted online distributor Cheaper Than Dirt price-gouging during a buying panic and they're doing it again.
"After this is all over, they'll no doubt go back to voting Democrat."
Michael G. sends a dispatch from the Meme Wars.
More depth on Constitutional Carry action in Tennessee. Which is not actually, but the increment would be a foot in the door for future reforms, and another example for Our Side to point to, when Tennessee's crime rates inevitably fall as a result of not prohibiting decent people from defending themselves.
Why I was reluctant to reenter the workforce,
And why I'm sticking with the relative
solitude and autonomy of courier driving.
Your television is lying to you. This should bother you.
Sooo, yyyeah, it's Immigrants Contributing to Society.
But it's also a spectacular overreaction. (But there is backlash.)
Aaand there go the elections. Which segues to,
Arizona is not a safe place to escape to.
I used to be deeply into the Marvel Universe and it's dead to me now.
Repeating, Tennessee "Consitutional" Carry. Increments.
Recently I wondered if coronavirus WUHAN FLU bfytw might end, or at least reduce, our dependency on communist-Chinese slave labor and reinvigorate our domestic manufacturing capability. In a similar vein, Michael G. asks, "Will corona virus pop higher education's bubble?" Don't go to college. It's a terrible mistake.
Michael then sends, existing GPS might work on Luna, negating the need for a whole separate system.
FIFTEEN DOLLARS AN HOUR
And now I'm losing wages because
a quarter of my route is closed.
Fortunately I have two months' rent saved up,
which is rather more than twice what I usually have,
but this is how my world works:
Followed by, "The solution to everything is more immigration! I suppose because the true solution to everything is always authoritarian power and less freedom, and this is a means to that."
And as if on cue.
With, "This is what the China Government virus college shut down is keeping our students from learning about." "What if the Humans are right? he wondered. What if it's been tried this way before, and never worked?"
But tell me again whose fault it really is.
And of course, don't go to college.
Freeway thoughts: The Left: "Trump doesn't hire minorities! Trump is racist!" ...Trump hires minorities.... "Those aren't real minorities! They're Oreos and Uncle Toms and House-N-Words and race traitors!"
"The people panic-buying now are mainly first-time gun owners and anti-gun hypocrites." "Good. Welcome. Now stop voting Democrat."
Babylon Bee becomes a hard-news site, Chapter MMMMMMCXVIII.
Remember, peasant, private citizens using personal firearms to defend their homes is a fantasy that never happens.
Michael G. looks on the bright side.
Back here I pondered the "Great Repealing", a broad slashing of regulations and laws to lighten the burden of government upon the people. Michael now sends a bonfire of the regulations. One can hope.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends quarantine advice from Buzz Aldrin. Followed by a timely visual aid. Seriously folks this thing is not going to kill you unless you're already old and sick and at that point what wouldn't?
FABBERS will CHANGE the WORLD
in 3, 2, 1....
Michael G. sends, "Even if it's just an act, she's right: Nikki Haley Resigns from Boeing Board in Protest of $60 Billion Bailout Request."
Followed by, "Criticizing the Chinese Communist Party is (wait for it) racist. Which says a lot more about those defending the ChiComs than those criticizing the ChiComs."
Media Contributing to Hysteria
Communist China Contributing to Media remember Babylon Bee already scooped this
"Your" "fair" "share"
Not all of the younger generation is brainwashed.
Michael G. sends, "Occupiers now only students physically at Syracuse U since Syracuse shifted to online classes only in response to Chinese Government virus. Talk about being focused on the movie in their heads where they are the heroes." Butbutbut who will commit the hate crimes? Michael quickly follows with, "If a protest happens where nobody sees it, does anybody care? In an update to the Syracuse U occupiers, less than a day after they said they would continue no matter what, they call the occupation off." Which segues to,
"College indoctrinators worried online teaching will expose what they are doing. The same thing conservatives have said might be a silver lining to the Chinese Government virus, they see as an additional bad effect."
Then, "Leftists discover witch hunt system will even target leftists. Just because I always opposed this evidence free witch hunt system doesn't mean I can't laugh at the kind of progs who supported it complaining that they were targeted."
Michael also sends, results from Japan's experimentally shooting an asteroid.
Increments in Idaho. I seem to recall saying in these pages, at the time Idaho's state-residents-only version passed, that they could go back and get more later. Which is the hope in Tennessee as well.
The final chapter of Aurora is essentially complete, but I find myself wanting to draw a new starship graphic for it before posting. Hopefully this weekend.
Michael G. sends, "Meanwhile, back in Africa, locusts are ravaging the land, because watermelons hold the purse strings and local corruptocrats will do whatever money tells them to do. I don't care much about the Africans, but if the cost is low I'd love giving the watermelons a black eye." Aaaaand I'm a prophet, again.
Followed by, "Breaking news: Univision slams gun buying. Maybe some of the gun buying is Hispanics who know exactly the kind of people being turned loose from the jails because of Chinese Government virus? Not that it matters, we know Univision starts with the conclusion they want and then work backwards."
Timely Visual Aid.
Connect these dots: A virus China lied about for months, a media parroting Chinese propaganda while spreading hysteria, government orders to stop working and prohibit gatherings, government orders to halt the sale of arms and ammunition, and now government orders to release criminals and illegal immigrants. There are things I fear far more than the Wuhan Flu.
Scienty-fictiony bionic hands. Getting there.
I have been notified that
another quarter of my route has been closed,
and there seems to be
a lot of that going around.
There are things I fear far more
than the Chinese flu.
From the place where Britain used to be, a chatroom elf reports: "Here is why you guys need to fight for the 2A. Many licenses are due for renewal, which require a doctors note. Doctors are really busy at present so the police forces are using this to remove guns from owners as it's illegal to posses without a valid license, and they know where we all live!!! Hard enough to get signed off as it is, and many doctors charge upwards of $450 just to sign the form."
Getting damn tired of subliterate room-temperature-IQ racists calling me "inferior".
Getting damn tired of pre-medieval goat-and-child-raping savages accusing me of "hate".
Remember the media is lying about everything, all the time.
Michael G. sends, "Another college protest that really looks stupid now: Before Drexel U shut down, the campus socialists held a 'die in' to protest the food service company's use of... single-use sterile eating utensils. A dumb protest at anytime, it has not aged well at all in current conditions."
He then asks, "What's better, complaining about a shortage or doing something about it?"
Years ago I wrote "At the north coast of Timber Island, decades before the War, tourism promoters had built Arboria, a complete community suspended an average 100 meters above ground, integrated with the living trees to which it clung. In the following centuries, as the trees continued to grow, xenobotanists had steered that growth to create living buildings, shaped into rooms of natural wood." This kind of thing is what I envisioned. ...But I was probably also inspired by the Ewok village in Episode VI, and by Expanded Universe descriptions of Wookiee habitations on Kashyyyk. Which segues to,
Aurora, part 129, the final chapter, is online. If you find this fictional future history entertaining, please consider a charitable donation through the PayPal button at the top or bottom of most pages on this site, and stay tuned for further adventures set in the same universe. Thank you. The next series will be along in its own time.
And then I got out of bed and
went back to work.
And then another part of my route closes
after governor Commie Katie Brown issues some
kind of muddled, backtracked, not-what-I-meant,
shelter-in-place "stay at home"
And who would enforce such an "order"?
The same child-pornographer,
back-shooting sociopaths in
who refuse to investigate or pursue
crimes of violence and property
against their taxpaying employers
but vigorously enforce speed limits
and parking meters and license tags and
anything that might make a poor working stiff
miss a rent payment or utility bill?
Timely Visual Aid.
It's not paranoia if they really are lying about everything.
It's not paranoia if they really are fantasizing about genocide.
"Who stood to gain by panicking the nation & shutting down our entire economy, over an epidemic that will likely kill fewer Americans than the ‘regular old flu’?"
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends Real Space Enthusiasts Hate NA$A, Chapter MMMMMMCXXII.
Court action in New Jersey-of-all-places.
Michael G. sends Trump Derangement Syndrome, Chapter MMMMMMCXXIII: "MSM: Trump makes people eat cleaning products. Two people ate fish tank cleaner because one of the ingredients was a form of chloroquine, and one of them died. Despite this being like eating anti-microbial soap to prevent a bacteria infection, it is the fault of Trump and not the MSM for driving people into panic."
Followed by, "Shut-down Pomona college lets protesters stay in dorms. Maybe the progs in charge figure that if the protesters get sick and die, they'll become martyrs. And dead martyrs have all the political power of live protesters without having to be around them."
Hey tell me again how white people have no culture. This rising white-identity backlash would not have happened if not for years and decades of hate and slander and propaganda and the fevered imaginations of psychotic Hollywood screenwriters and FBI agents.
And the rot keeps spreading f*** you I'll write my own.
Frankly I wouldn't mind
a proper depopulation event.
The low traffic and available
parking has been rather nice.
But everything else in my life
has been a disappointment,
why should this be different?
And then local "small-government",
"conservative" radio talker Lars Larson
fully invests in the panic,
upset that Commie Katie Brown
hasn't violated enough civil
Then the supermarkets are
herding customers like cattle
through gated paths. I'm
surprised I didn't see
guards with MP5s.
People are stupid.
Followed by another university going woke-broke.
Then, "Wake Forest U Law: Don't teach Supreme Court cases that have bad words in them. Which is really ironic in a course on First Amendment law."
Likewise, "Clemson U wants to repeal law to teach the Constitution. Because it makes them look bad because they flout the law."
But they call us "racist".
MASSIVE VOTE FRAUD
No sympathy for an entire industry that hates me and wants me to die. -With a handful of evident exceptions.
"The gun culture esteems honesty, responsibility, and individual honor." And some people want to ban it.
In related news, Codrea observes the opening of a new front in the culture war.
Years ago I wrote "...[T]hose UN government doctors," Attalba supplied, "are illiterate butchers who know absolutely nothing about cellular surgery, cartilage regeneration, or nerve replacement, despite us telling them all about it, with pictures yet, for the last eighty or ninety years." I also wrote, "Our average lifespan is over two hundred Terran years. The same free-market medicine, without bureaucrats bogging it down, has developed anti-aging treatments most other societies can scarcely imagine. Last time I was at Sylvan I met a woman who was something over 160 Terran years old, still working in a sawmill - not because she couldn't retire but because she didn't want to. And she was still entirely capable of the work, or she'd be let go." Now Michael G. sends, "Cellular rejuvenation research. Unfortunately it's NY Times, and I've used up my free articles for the month." Actually if you time the reload of the page, and the [Esc] key to stop it loading, just right, you can get the article loaded before the ads and paywalls. That works for a lot of sources.
GODSDAMMIT I WAS PROMISED
A DEPOPULATION EVENT
As tax time looms ever closer, remember you're not paying "your" "fair" "share".
Michael G. sends, SPLC Blames Trump's 'Racist, Anti-Asian Epithets' for Coronavirus-Related Anti-Asian Harassment. Timely Visual Aid and then this happens.
Followed by, "Pelosi saves the nation! In her own imagination, by trying to block the bill and then trying to lard it up with all the non-virus-related things she wants."
Then, "Weekend at Bernie's Joe's? The Atlantic says the only thing Joe Biden needs to do is stay alive." "It reads like something out of The Onion or the Babylon Bee." Psst - Joe Biden has information that could lead to the imprisonment of Hillary Clinton.
One of Our Kind has suffered a terrible loss.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan comments, "So, this 2A game. You grind away, and just before you squash every possible Infringement, some busybody rushes in and gives it all up... because Gottlieb. People complain, leading the chief developer to explain 'The idea isn't to win, but rather to lose gracefully.'" Seriously though I do hope it works.
Fox News refuses to air Obama press conferenceOH. WAIT.
Similarly, baby-burning kitten-stomping sociopaths don't want to hear the peasants' whining.
Aaaand Sink the Island.
Both Michael G. and SMLE Fan send an article on situational awareness and technology as a weapon, including an examination of the Battle off Samar and why Kurita ran away from Taffy 3.
SMLE Fan sends a big pile of free online fiction. And stuff. Or you could read mine.
Never forget the media lies about
all the time.
To which Michael G. adds, "Is this a 'media extinction event'? Don't cheer too soon, as they point out some of the worst are the most likely to survive." Ninety-nine percent of all cops lawyers journalists give that other fellow a bad name.
Remember also, if Hillary had taken power I'd've been dead in a drone strike years ago and so would you.
Second Front action in West Virginia and as always I demand jail time or a noose for any hypocritical thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife, and for any prosecutor-persecutor or unstable-freak-in-black-robes who upheld such bigotry.
Michael G. sends "ChiGov virus isn't all bad: Reportedly Kills Founding Member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps."
Followed by, "Judge rules U of MI officials are personally liable for violating rights." Not what we've come to expect.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends FABBERS will CHANGE the WORLD.
Market forces baby
Michael Z. Williamson suggests how this should be handled, because it's not the end of the world. But what are we getting instead?
Michael G. answers: "Cuba will cure ChiGov virus for the world! If only the US sanctions against Cuba don't prevent it. Like we can believe reports from a joint Cuba China effort. The article includes examples of previous Cuban claims to discover cures and vaccines, that all ended up being false. One of the claims was for a vaccine against cancer." [Wait don't we already have that?] "As an aside, next week's episode of Nova is about a Cuban vaccine for cancer and the teasers make it sound like Nova is approaching it as credulously as an 'Ancient Aliens' regular."
Followed by, "Biden: Vote for me because not even Obama would trust me with power."
Then, "Ventilator triage panic was started by former Obama official. An Obama official trying to smear the Trump administration by releasing confidential information out of context? No, that could never happen."
With, "Hate crime at UW Madison! The Chinese Government virus was called Chinese virus in sidewalk chalk! And they even dared to express displeasure with the Chinese communist government! But the college administration won't let that slide, they are on the case."
And, in proper redistributionist tradition, "Harvard student govt. votes for perfect grades for everyone. So ChiGov virus is the same as everyone having a roommate die this semester? But that whole guaranteed A if a roommate dies thing is an urban legend." If I were hiring people for a company and they put a degree from Harvard on their resume, well....
Hey tell me which party has had all the offices and power in San Francisco for how many decades.
Back when Idaho passed state-resident-only Constitutional Carry the disappointment was tempered with the thought that they could go back and get the rest later and THAT JUST HAPPENED. By my reckoning that makes thirteen, and four halves, and four quarters, and if I'm wrong click on "comment" at the bottom of this page to update me:
2017 New Hampshire
2019 South Dakota
2016 West Virginia
2015 Arkansas (still disputed)
1991 Montana (outside city limits)
2017 North Dakota (state residents only, concealed only)
2011 Wyoming (state residents only)
2015(?) New Mexico (unloaded carry, separate loaded magazine; vehicle carry unlicensed)
2015 Puerto Rico (disputed)
2007 Texas (vehicle carry unlicensed - 2016, open carry with concealed permit)
2014 Tennessee (vehicle carry unlicensed)
Michael G. sends, "You might find this amusing: The Youtube people who decide what kind of gun stuff is good and what gets demonetized demonstrated their ignorance by letting an ad through that gun people can tell at a glance what it really is. Either that or they are going to use the presence of that ad as an excuse to shut people down, and hope that low hanging fruit order the product and get arrested."
A spark of reason in Texas.
Speaking of Texas.
Meanwhile in Oklahoma, a fantasy that never happens. With "mainstream" media lies that always do.
"Can't stop the signal, Mal." And there's always another way.
YouTube tells me I'm eligible

I think I won't bother.
with all these new gun owners,
lemme remind you-all of my video serieseses for
Basic Firearms Tutorials and
Basic Firearms Disassembly.
So we're all supposed to stay at home and binge-watch this garbage? F*** you CBS I still work for a living, couriers are an essential industry. And I can write better than that.
Michael G. sends, "GOP prepares and stockpiles, Dems use them up. Why should Dems prepare? They know the media will support them in blaming the GOP for not stopping them from p***ing it away."
Years ago I imagined Islamic terrorists using biological warfare. Michael sends, "What would happen if Islam used biowarfare? Going by their examples, they would hurt themselves far worse than they would hurt us. On the other hand they would be dumb enough to do it anyway."
Followed by, "More evidence supporting the use of hydroxychloroquine" which a couple state governors have banned: "I do not expect Dem pols blocking its use in the US to change their opposition. Because Orange Man Bad."
Then, "How many times now have they proved they hate us, and want us to die?" Remember this.
And as if on cue, "NY Times says ChiGov virus is the fault of evangelical Christians. Because they support Trump. And some Christians did bad things in the past. I especially like this bit of projection: 'Stewart rails against calling the Democrats the "party of death," and insists for religious conservatives, "Fealty to the cause is everything; fidelity to the facts means nothing."'" Memes in comments.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends "Low hanging fruit comment: SpaceX will launch on schedule, only to find nothing, because NA$A is behind time and over budget."
"In the 1960s, filming miniature spaceships was a slow and expensive process. This forced the original Star Trek to focus on drama and action-adventure of a decidedly old-school fashion" and that's not what we have now.
With all the other stuff going on, I forgot that yesterday was the official 119th birthday of the Model of 1911. An example of which is usually in Condition One next to my mousepad as I type.
Michael G. sends "And all it took was a deadly pandemic for them to see the obvious: Italians burn EU flag, vow to leave EU over EU's lousy coronavirus response."
Blogbrother SMLE Fan and I have a saying: TAISP - The Almighty Internets Shall Provide. He now sends National Emergency Library online.
During the Second World War the United States of America found herself allied with one of the most oppressive and destructive regimes in human history, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. One enemy at a time.
One hopes this is Lighter in the sense of demonstrating what immature imbeciles leftists are.
In the very first part I ever wrote in my fictional future history is "Fuentes sat with practiced ease, sweeping his sabre and the holstered revolver around to clear the arms of the chair." Years later I wrote "...[T]he seat design had won two industry awards and a military contract...." and years after that I wrote "Nosc gestured to seats. One, detecting an approaching Nikar, reconfigured itself to clear his tail." Why has this taken so long. And why is it being marketed to costumed sociopaths instead of human beings.
"Your" "Fair" "Share"
Michael G. sends "It was just an editing mistake. There's an old familiar tune from the MSM."
And then this happens. Wouldn't trust the TV to tell me it rains in Seattle.
And then that man who ingested fish-tank cleaner because Trump said it would fight coronavirus was actually murdered by his crazy drug-addict wife.
AND THEN Twitter tries to kill people.
