(F*** New Zealand)
Followed by, "Berkeley Law dean: Executive order protecting First Amendment is unconstitutional. Also says there is no campus free speech crisis. I suppose he expects us to believe him and not our lying eyes." "[T]he order is so vague and ambiguous, it makes compliance... extremely difficult" you mean like every single gun control law these same bigots ever propose?
This new trouble for SPLC is not Lighter News because we already know whose side the IRS is on. Though Codrea has perspective.
Speaking of sides, I repeat, MINE ISN'T THE ONE TRYING TO START THE RACE WAR.
Immigrants Contributing to Society
Oh look yet another high-ranking Democrat sexual predator.
Second Front success in New York of all places and as always I demand jail time or a noose for any hypocritical thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife, and for any prosecutor-persecutor or unstable-freak-in-black-robes who upheld such bigotry.
Incremental action in Idaho.
Increments achieved in Ohio.
Eminent domain reversal in New York of all places.
And then I got out of bed and
went back to work.
Yesterday I linked an analysis of the coming race war. Years ago Michael Z. Williamson observed similar behavior. Michael G. now sends, "Muslim antisemitism caused by Islamophobia. According to a German government study. So once again it's all whiteys fault, and those Jews shouldn't be walking around in short skirts."
And then this happens. And this, and this. A "phobia" is an irrational fear and there is nothing irrational about fearing Islam.
Michael G. follows with, "Time itself is racist. According to a Rutgers professor. Nothing crazy here, or crazy about going into lifetime debt to get a degree from Rutgers."
To say nothing of all those Immigrant Contributions to Society.
Which segues to, any Jew who is not as heavily armed and highly trained as possible is not paying attention.

Speaking of California, every summer the envirofascists scream about "drought" and this year I think they can be safely slapped right in the face.
Couple years back I wrote “When energy becomes cheap,” Danner went on, “everything else does too. Uniforms, food, weapons and equipment, tools and parts, all easily mass-produced in automated factories - wait 'til you see some of our orbital farms, without an expensive gravity well to climb out of.” And without seasonal variations, or storms or frosts or blights or droughts or floods, and with sunlight absolutely controllable in duration and intensity; and fuel costs to market consisting largely of firing a few attitude jets after dropping a container into the gravity well. Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends, working on it. -Though of course Old Media couldn't resist using a photo of a woman in a headscarf and comparing the result to the Obamas' favorite arugula. Yeah I have my own thoughts on that topic.

Michael G. sends, "Gender equal Nordic nations have high levels of rape. Gee, what factor is this article ignoring that could be important?" "[L]ack of trust in the justice system"? Would that be the same "justice" system that punishes rape victims for accurately describing who raped them?
Followed by, "Campus is not the place for free speech. So says the president of New York's Union College. I'll bet he isn't in favor of free speech off campus, either."
Burn the government schools
Years ago I wrote "government supplies rotting in warehouses, government funds evaporating under corruption and graft, the needy never getting a fraction of it, except when news cameras were present" and every single bit of that bears repeating.
"Can't stop the signal, Mal" and there's always another way.
Michael G. sends a contemplation of relative tool quality: "Useful video on Harbor Freight Tools. What are bargains, and what costs more in the long run? Two rules of thumb I take from the video. 1: What I call the one half / one fifth rule. If the Harbor Freight tool is one half to one third the cost of a major brand equivalent you have a good chance of having a bargain. But if it is one fifth or less the cost of major brand it will probably break fast. 2: If the tool is largely steel and simple in construction odds are in your favor, as long as it doesn't violate the half / fifth rule."

My first op-ed video was about the anti-self-defense perverts threatening to use nuclear weapons on anyone who refused to obey their decrees and that is not hyperbole.
They also don't mind murdering us retail instead of wholesale, as Michael G. observes: "Govt. health care and govt. schools! A glorious combination!"
(And that's not hyperbole either.)
While down the I-5 corridor in this horrible place, "Portland to implement Fair Access to Renting. Because the city government knows far better who to rent to than the people who actually spent the money to create housing and then risk it by renting." Which segues to my neighbors:

And then this happens. I'm sure it's all, somehow, MY fault?
RINO footdragging in Tennessee.
No rule of law in Occupied Colorado.
And backstabbing from Fairfax: some days ago a VCDL alert made it click-simple to express my displeasure regarding NRA's support of, or lack of opposition to, "red flag" "laws" which utterly destroy any pretense of due process. Yesterday I received: 'Thank you for contacting the NRA-ILA regarding S.7, sponsored by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), and other emergency risk protection order (ERPO)/”red flag” legislation.
'Not only does NRA oppose Senator Rubio’s bill, but we have not supported ANY of the 14 “red flag” bills that have been enacted into law. Contrary to some claims, we have always demanded that any such legislation include strong criminal penalties for those who bring false or frivolous charges.
'Our opposition to all these legislative proposals is steeped in our steadfast commitment to protecting the due process rights of law-abiding Americans; something that these bills to date have failed to do. In keeping with our commitment to upholding the constitutional due process rights of all Americans, NRA will continue to strongly oppose any proposal that does not fully protect these rights.
'Unfortunately, the NRA’s position on ERPOs has been mischaracterized by some who have not taken the time to understand our position, including the anti-gun mainstream media and organizations that claim to support the Second Amendment. Many of the individuals mischaracterizing our position are using misinformation to simply attack the NRA....'
Which I forwarded to David Codrea, who points out how NRA vigorously demanded the very same "laws" they now claim to vigorously oppose. So we really are getting it from all sides.
Incremental opportunities in Kansas.
Amongst the entertainment rot, Michael G. sends, "Can't stop the signal: Unplanned movie huge success first weekend in spite of media, Hollywood, and big tech efforts to memory hole it. Even if you don't plan to watch it, the mere fact that it beat those three is cause for celebration." ...Which I have also pondered but after Planned Parenthood was revealed to be offering baby body parts for sale - fresh I'm less resistant to a line being drawn.
This horrible place
In the place where Sweden used to be, Michael G. sends "The left peacefully protesting the violent right." F*** Sweden they want to commit national suicide. Any Swede who doesn't should get the hell out while they can.
And Germany too: "Muslims in Germany demand more power to enforce dhimmi status of non-Muslims. And all the German political parties except Alternative for Germany think it is a great idea."
Then on campus across the country, "College bias response team teaches how to deal with Republicans. This is at Washington State U. And in case anyone thinks it is limited to there, check out this bias complaint from Michigan State, which leads off with a student reporting his roommate for watching a Ben Shapiro video" and if that doesn't make you go out to buy more ammunition there's something wrong with you.
By which I also mean, remember when anyone who questioned a gay agenda being promoted in the government education system was attacked as "paranoid" and "homophobic"?
And that infection also keeps spreading.

"If you take a walk I'll tax your feet."
Michael G. sends, "Chris Cuomo reveals truth! But not on purpose: 'Chris Cuomo accidentally let the truth slip out on CNN during his recent “Cuomo at the Border” special. While interviewing an illegal alien, Cuomo learns that the man is not really seeking asylum, although he’d happily accept it if offered. No, what the illegal alien really wanted was a job, which he tells Chris without reservation. Chris mistakenly took the interview a step further, asking why he dragged his son on the life threatening journey if he was simply coming here to work. The illegal alien replied, “If I come here with my son, I’ll be allowed to stay.”'"
Speaking of things illegal immigrants come here with, Michael adds, "Unstable freak sides with infectious diseases: In overruling the quarantine order he also says it is antisemitic because it disproportionately targets the Hasidic community, but comments point out that the Orthodox Jewish religion supports vaccination, and it is just some orthodox Jews who are antivax but not most." Yeah consider how Jews were persecuted hundreds and thousands of years ago for exercising personal hygiene and not coming down with plagues.
And as if on cue.
Followed by, "How DARE you expect me to keep my promises! That seems to be the excuse the Texas Speaker has for killing constitutional carry this time. Gun owners must be punished for pressuring him and other Republicans to fulfill their promises." (Though there are alternate views.)

Presently rewatching Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 for the I've-lost-count time. This is a really good story, well-told, on multiple levels - better in every way than the important, market-breaking-into 1974 original, syndicated in the US as Star Blazers. Meaningful plot. Depth of character (original Japanese voice acting with English subtitles). Timing-pacing-flow, carrying the viewer along, Ominously Foreshadowing but not revealing things before their times. Things on screen for a fraction of a second which later have enormous significance. Even the stereotypical weird existential stuff (which comment I made months before 2199 was released, and longer before I was aware of its existence) was part of the story and then got right back on the narrative rails. The creators, all of them, writer-director-voice actors-animators-musicians, put a lot of work into this, and cared about what they were doing, while also respecting the iconic source material. -Alas, the sequel, 2202, as I've said before, changed writer and director and went the big-visuals path, at the expense of the story. In my opinion.

Many times I have observed that dehumanizing an opponent is a precursor to genocide. Michael G. now sends, "This was from an exchange between an abortion supporter and an abortion opponent, but the logic can be applied to any group being dehumanized, like us. There are no babies that survive an abortion because it was already determined before hand that they weren't babies (i.e. human) so even if they survive they still aren't babies. So when they line us up at the mass graves, we already aren't human and if we somehow survive and escape we still aren't human."
Not unrelated, "Anti Title IX graffiti at Princeton. When Title IX was forcing men's sports being shut down because you couldn't have more male college athletes than female athletes and fewer women wanted to compete it was fine, but when it is used to affirm due process for all accused of crimes it is horrible."
Increments in New York of all places.

This from the same delusionally-psychotic bigots who just the other day demanded segregated non-white housing for students.

See: rotavirus) from various hideous diseases that they don’t have to get. On the other hand, if the Government can mandate and force vaccination in the name of public health, what else can they force on us in the name of public health? On the gripping hand, there have been measles, mumps, and whooping cough outbreaks in NY in the last few years, and I’d really, really rather not see a diphtheria or polio outbreak, which is a possibility if anti-vaccine madness is allowed to spread too much. What is a minarchist libertarian to do?" Which I have also pondered. I'm guessing it ain't farmers in Iowa spreading these plagues. My suggestions would be, in the short term, to build the f***ing wall to stop them coming, and in the longer, to cut off the f***ing handouts so they have no reason to stay.
Followed by, "Hit bottom, started digging, kept going. Just when you think it couldn’t get worse, it can. Note the heavy load of 'for thee, but not for me'. Comrade Warren Wilhelm, I mean Bill Deblasio, wants to ban beef, glass and steel skyscrapers, single use plastic ware, mandate organic collection, and a slew of others. Note also that Comrade Wilhelm has no plans on stopping his everyday motorcade procession to a gym in Brooklyn. And of course, no notion of how to pay for all of this other than through magic unicorn farts and crushing taxes. The only silver lining is that at least I don’t live in NYC, I just work there. Ugh. I really feel particularly trapped now, this state just keeps getting worse and worse. King Andrew I, I mean Governor Cuomo, will doubtlessly feel the need to one up Comrade Wilhelm and something even more stupid will ooze out from Albany."
So we've been getting spam emails and YouTube ads for USCCA, and they're sponsoring at least one radio show, and they're backstabbing Quislings? Or not?
Yeah I'm using up all my sick time to supposedly look for another job and instead I'm actually sick.
David Codrea observes how the government doesn't serve the people anymore. Think about this, real hard: an American citizen who tried to halt illegal immigration is kidnapped, imprisoned, and set up for torture and murder by his own government. (Though Desert Hermit Joel offers perspective.)
Which kind of segues to entertainment rot. They don't see us as human beings. We are cardboard cutout props in the stage-plays of their minds.
By which I also mean, CNN and the rest of Old Media viscously and relentlessly attack Trump and anyone who has anything to do with him, harassing administration officials out of restaurants, condoning violence against anyone wearing a MAGA hat, and then they have the chutzpah to be upset when people don't want to line up for more such abuse.
Which segues to professional writers openly calling for an end to free speech and an end to the last-resort power to do anything about it.
Everything really is getting worse all the time.
There is a reason the United Nations is the villain in so much libertarian fiction.
"Treason against the United States" is committed by the people who don't want us able to defend ourselves.
Hey remember when people objecting to allowing gays to be Scoutmasters were dismissed as "paranoid" and "homophobic"?
AND AS IF ON CUE.
KuKluxKlan apologizes for allowing black speaker on campusOH. WAIT.
What if Pizzagate and NXIVM and all the rest are not paranoid conspiracy theories?
Speaking of conspiracies, a little while ago a Constitutional Carry effort in Texas was sunk at the last minute by some supposed "threat" made by an activist against a politician. There's another side to that story.
Which in turn segues to FAIRFAX GODSDAMMIT
In this horrible place, the police are on the side of the mobs. In Europe, the governments are on the side of the terrorists.
Who are frequently Immigrants Contributing to Society.
Though, Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, corrects me on "Measles: While keeping the immigrants who contribute so much to society out is an admirable goal, the current US measles outbreak was imported, alas, by unvaccinated US citizens travelling legally to places with ongoing measles outbreaks and bringing it back here, where the disease has spread amongst the anti-vaccination cultists. Legal travel has also been behind most of the outbreaks in the last few years as well. The current outbreak is spreading primarily amongst the Hasidic and Ultra orthodox Jewish communities. While the large majority of Jews are vaccinated and very much in favor of such, there are several prominent rabbis amongst the Hasidic and Ultra orthodox who are anti-vaxxers, whose followers will blindly obey orders not to vaccinate. This is the root of the problem I have. I’m deeply troubled by vaccination at government gun point because of where that could lead, but how do we stop legal citizens from travelling legally? I don’t want the government to have that power either. But at the same time I don’t want pestilence to be spread, hence the doubts. Sorry to babble about this, but anti-vax hits close to home for me, because one of my kids almost died from rotavirus he got at 3 weeks old, a week before he got the vaccine." I seem to recall Michael Z. Williamson exploring this in Freehold as well. What is a minarchist to do?
An increment in Florida.
Trump Still Keeps Happening
Repeating, David Codrea endorses Anthony Colandro for NRA Board, which is a rather big deal for anyone who's been paying attention.
Range daaaayyyyy would have been better if I could see the sights. A friend invited me to a small indoor range up across the river in Occupied Washington, and I got a little handgun time. At 15 feet I could easily see a .22 hole in the paper, but I couldn't make out the sights, front or rear, on the pistols in my hands, with my 15+ year old eyeglasses on. I really need to do something about that. For long guns I'm beginning to transition to optics - I even have one of those saddle-mount things for Millicent, though I haven't installed it yet and it would make disassembly more difficult - but glass and electronics aren't allowed at a CMP match and are contrary to the spirit of Appleseed.
Codrea observes yet more epic hypocrisy.
There are many admirable traits to Japanese culture, but Japan has never been a free country and is also another reason to burn the government schools.
As if more were needed.
Oh look yet another corrupt moneygrubbing Democrat.
I live in a slum, rapidly approaching third-world-shantytown status, with the neighbors' cigarette smoke (and screaming Ebonics f-words) coming right through the wall, dead cars completely choking the driveway so I couldn't possibly park my own if I had one, a rotating and ever-growing homeless camp taking over the cul-de-sac, poop and drug needles on the sidewalk between here and the bus stop and coming soon to the bus itself I expect, I ride in a van with morons to park other people's cars in the rain for little more than minimum wage, everything really is getting worse all the time.
And then this happens. More money than I earn in a year to come here and live off my taxes through massive welfare fraud.
Hey here's a radical idea: let's not hold people to different standards based on the color of their skin.
But no - Michael G. sends, "Trinity college prof says being white automatically makes you a terrorist."
To which dot connect, way back here I noted how guns don't kill people, black gay TV reporters who voted for Obama kill people. Comes now, man, you gotta do something about those TV people.
Michael follows with, "Free Speech in Denmark - or rather the lack of it. Not that things are much better with respect to Child Protective Services abuse in the US."
With, "The fruits of Merkel: A German woman's magazine runs an article on how to provide first aid for stab wounds." [In between the Burkha Fashion Tips and Top 15 Reasons Why You Deserve to be Stoned to Death?] "Thanks, Mutti Merkel!"
Here is a thing the government schools won't be teaching in history class. -Except the madrassas who will teach how the victims deserved it.
To yesterday's somewhat disappointing and deliberately ambiguous range report, I would add that Winchester bulk copper-plated hollowpoint .22LR ammunition, or at least the box we had, was noticeably inconsistent in power, compared to even the cheap Federal red-box. We were using a pair of Ruger 22/45s, one produced in the first year, 1992, the other in 1998. In the latter I could feel a different level of recoil, and hear a different level of noise, with every shot. In the former, my friend was getting several malfunctions which disappeared when he tried the abovelinked Federal American Eagle unplated solid. Now, when I handload, I strongly prefer Winchester primers, because they have never failed me, but I won't be buying that particular kind of Winchester .22LR ammunition (also sold as "222", "525", "555"). -I would also add that I gave up on Remington Thunderbolt decades, and lost extractors, ago. On the other hand, if you're going to an Appleseed and need some good ammunition, I can recommend Federal Champion #510, which shoots Expert in an original factory 10/22 barrel from the early 1980s.
Speaking of range trips, I would implore Japan to keep Rule Four firmly in mind. Leaving aside issues of space debris, let's not awaken any ancient cosmic world-eating space-kaiju.
Seriously though resilience is one of those admirable traits I mentioned.
having neither won MegaBall
nor found better employment,
I got out of bed and
went back to work.
"That’s because they have no scruples except power."
And lest that be seen as hyperbole or slander, couple days ago I observed how European governments are on the side of the terrorists. The same thing is happening here.
FIFTEEN DOLLARS AN HOUR
Society contributing to immigrants
Michael G. sends, "Rape isn't a good enough reason to deport a non-citizen. At least not in Sweden, according to the Swedish Supreme Court." "...Sweden appears to be a society that is bent on self-destruction."
Followed by, "It's so hard to tell satire from real life these days. Case in point: I'm pretty sure this is satire, but not completely certain."
With, "Immigrants doing the jobs Americans won't: That's not actually true, but I'm not sure Planned Parenthood wants freelance competition."
And, "DNC Chair officially announces double standard: GOP not allowed to use ill gotten information, but for Dems it's totes OK."
Then, "At college, if they want male's opinions, they'll give them to them."
Vertebrate sighting in Missouri.
Free Matt Bracken novel again.
Michael G. sends, "Harvard teaches diversity doesn't include Christians. Glen Reynolds advises Christians to sell their cloak and buy an AR15."
Followed by, "Berkeley hosting conference on 'Right Wing Studies'. But they assure us they are non-political."
Fairfax for f***'s sake
Like this horrible place, Seattle is choked with homeless and sidewalk-poop and parasites living off other people's money and what does Seattle's government intend to do about that? Attack the people pointing it out. Yeah I'm expecting to be framed for a fake hate crime, or get anonymously "red-flagged", at any given moment.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends, "Reaching Mars by 2033 is not feasible. An independent report by the Science and Technology Policy Institute found that NASA has no chance of sending humans to Mars by 2033...." Yeah well f*** NA$A and hold SpaceX's f***ing beer. And Mars is a place I have also pondered. With cultural insensitivity.
Michael G. sends, "Remember when Vanderboegh would talk about the NY Times winning the Julius Streicher journalism award? They're really trying to win it."
AND THEN AS IF ON CUE THIS GUN CONTROL SUCCESS STORY HAPPENS AND I KNOW WHO MY LEADING SUSPECTS WOULD BE.
Not unrelated, Michael follows with, "NHS trained doctor was ISIS's Mengele. Another triumph of socialist medicine." National Socialism is still socialism.
Then, "Yale students want their cops disarmed. I'd be cool with that if that didn't want to disarm all the rest of us too. Anyway, how do they expect to force us to do all the stuff they say we should that we don't want to without armed cops?"
With, "American U students dislike mandatory diversity classes. 'Student Victor Ciaccia’s says AUx “did not promote a candid or engaging discussion,” and added students “are highly criticized if they don’t agree with the views of the instructors.”'"
And, "Caribbean pirates targeting Mexican oil rigs. If the Mexican government can't protect a major source of their income, don't try to convince me they can stop crime at our border." Well there's also the question of wanting to.
Michael G. ponders backlash in Europe: "EU socialist parties haz a sadz. Because those mean ol' rightwingers are daring to attack the socialists with the immigration crisis that the socialists caused."
And then I got out of bed and
went back to work.
And then I walked off the job in disgust
and now I'm unemployed again.
Well any day now.
To which Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, adds: "Seriously, unopposed and unanimous?!? What the ever-loving *%#^?!? Did the NRA meeting suddenly teleport to North Korea or something? I haven’t given money to the NRA in a while, and I think I shall continue to snub their fundraising."
THEIR WAY DOESN'T WORK. OURS DOES. And this too shall disappear from the news cycle, except in vague passing mentions, because "The shooter, 19-year-old John Earnest... calls himself an avowed anti-Semite who hates President Trump for being pro-Israel."
Speaking of Fairfax godsdammit, Anthony Colandro wins election to NRA Board. Endorsed by David Codrea.
Among the entertainment rot, something to be done.
Michael G. sends more backlash: "Sri Lanka bans all face coverings including burqas and niqabs." ...Which is actually not freedom-oriented and minarchists should object to it but that makes little difference when they're blowing you up in church. I'm now reminded of Col. Kratman's standalone novel Caliphate, which is available free from Baen.
Incremental action in Missouri and I would remind my readers that "People with carry permits have been repeatedly shown to be more law abiding than police officers." Yeah I'm not the one going around shooting puppies and raping children.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan who has a (sort of) proper camera now and should be making moar kitteh vidyoz sends, How the U.S. Military Would Go To War (And Kill) Godzilla. "You know, just in case."
Fudds and Quislings
Michael G. sends, "Merkel to give Harvard's commencement speech: 'The left just adores Merkel. She has managed to ruin her country in a manner progressives would love to replicate in America.' Plus Maduro is a little too preoccupied to be able to come."
Followed by, "Facebook disavows formal relationship with SPLC." But "Of course, 'formal' makes a pretty big weasel word loophole for a noted weasel like Zuckerberg to get through."
With, "Remember, tolerance is a one way street. They can do whatever they want and if you object you are intolerant. But if they object to something you do, you must stop immediately."
Hey remember when college campuses were bastions of free speech and tolerance for alternative points of view?
NO, REALLY, BURN THE GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS which segues to
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends, "Unsatisfied with just putting NA$A out of business, SpaceX takes aim at the ISP industry."
Michael G. sends, "Stopped clock: MSNBC makes case for 2A. 'Not only hanging on but he appears to still control the military,' Sanders said. 'You have to understand, in Venezuela gun ownership is not something that's open to everybody. So if the military have the guns, they have the power and as long as Nicolás Maduro controls the military, he controls the country.'"
