The World Sucks

Just yesterday was a news item about
how telling certain kinds of people to stop acting like
screaming, tree-swinging, poo-flinging apes was "racist"
and now I'm having that exact problem with my neighbors.
Who, based on observed nationwide behavior,
will now fake a hate crime and frame me for it.
And/or break into my pitiful home
to steal and/or destroy my pitiful property
(and/or packages from my doorstep)
while I'm off working to refill their EBT cards.
Somebody please prove me wrong.

And that's not even mentioning the brown neighbors
on the other side, who have completely blocked the driveway
with a half-dozen or more vehicles in various states of disrepair,
so I wouldn't be able to get my own car in or out of my own parking space
if I even had a car which I haven't for two years now.

As if on cue, Michael G. sends, "White Europeans never did anything good, and to prove it we will suppress anything good that they did." And don't go to college.

And then this happens. It's not "white supremacists" robbing gas stations.

Immigrants Contributing to Society and genocide is not hyperbole.

  • Years ago I made a cartoon about the degeneration of police procedure. I'm not the... "Only One"... to have noticed.
  • I do not consider this Lighter News because untold thousands of peaceable human beings are now at risk of their lives from homicidal sociopaths in government costumes.

I hardly ever watch cop shows or cop movies anymore, because I know what police are now, but I recently rewatched the original 1971 Dirty Harry and this leapt out at me:

Which in turn reminded me of a city in California paying criminals not to commit crimes.
    And "Serve".

    Random thought:

Michael G. sends, "SciFi apocalypse that didn't happen: Robot takeover. 'You know, it amuses me that the left never realizes that robots apparently only take jobs under leftist presidents. Never mind.' In the course of examining why it didn't and won't happen, Sarah Hoyt has a lot of on point observations." Now robots are replacing some humans - burgerbots and pizzamatics leap to mind - and I've touched upon the same kind of thing. My job at present consists of moving vehicles from one part of a large yard to another, none of which are self-driving; also moving vehicles from one town, or part of town, to another, requiring navigational skills and problem-solving abilities; operating many different kinds of vehicles and figuring out what the buttons and levers do; and directing subliterate temp employees through an auction arena, often enlightening them regarding the aforementioned levers and buttons because some of these people are visibly brain-damaged. A robot won't take over my job anytime soon. -Which is not to say I like my job, it's what I have. There are lots of other things I'd rather be doing for a living.

Michael also observes one Righteous Among the Nations.

In Skype, discussing a recent news item, blogbrother SMLE Fan quips, "I'm just waiting for the Senate hearing in which some senator asks the visibly sweating NA$A apparatchik why they can't make reusable stuff 'like that Musk fella.'"

In the Prophet Heinlein's 1959 novel Starship Troopers, he postulated a rest & recreation planet with no natural background radiation, thus being exempt from the endless march of mutation and evolution. Hmm.

  • A firm grasp on the wrong end of the equation in Illinois. Criminals don't obey gun laws.
  • Still not Republican NRA members with concealed-carry licenses and nobody wants to talk about that.
  • For seven and more years those of us who've been paying attention have known about Project Gunwalker, the actions by which the Obama-Holder regime sent American weapons to Mexican drug cartels in the expectation they would be used in crimes, to in turn justify further violations of our natural human right to keep and bear arms. Michael G. sends, "Fast and Furious 2, Benghazi Boogaloo: Judicial Watch has found proof Obama and Clinton knew guns were going from Libya to Syria and lied about it under oath." There is a word for that kind of thing.

  • Enemy action in Florida.
  • Michael G. sends, "Chicago Alderman charged with extortion. Commenting on the article, Stephen Green notes: 'But here’s the kicker: [Assistant U.S. Attorney Amarjeet] Bhachu also revealed that the FBI found 23 guns when agents raided Burke’s offices in November. As a condition of bond, he must surrender the firearms and any others he may own within 48 hours of his release. He’s also allowed to travel only within the Northern District of Illinois and to his lake house in Power Lake, Wis., while the case is pending.' Emily Zanotti noted on Twitter, 'Burke was a key partner with Rahm Emanuel in expanding gun control in Chicago through the mayor’s “Safe Guns Policy.”'"
  • Here in Occupied Oregon, for many years, has been a bizarre "law" in which only certain kinds of engineers are allowed to refer to themselves as "engineers", and only after paying extortion to the government. So the bureaucrats in Oregon are so control freaky that not even an unstable freak in a black robe can tolerate it?" ...Thaaaaat's not Lighter News because it's still their system.

Followed by, "U VA punishes sorority for hazing members by requiring them to study at least 25 hours a week. The rule of thumb is that you need three hours of study for every hour of class time. 25 hours would be equivalent to 8 credit hours, which isn't even a full class load. And that is an excessive requirement, the same as hazing? Added to the story of the minority medical student kicked out because he questioned the existence of micro aggression, and I'd say that if Jefferson was alive today he would take back his bequest and start over from the beginning."

Then at the very end, this:'Overall, the fourth quarter is still shaping up to be fairly robust for corporate profits, with fourth quarter earnings reports from S&P 500 members so far indicating earnings growth north of 10% for the final quarter of the year.' But run for the hills, says Yahoo finance, because The Market doesn’t care about actual results, rather The Market will collapse because of nebulous future prognostications. This is all because Trump was supposed to ruin the economy by playing hardball with China, and it didn’t happen, and they need to show that the ruin is still coming." The college town of Iowa City Iowa may not have the concentrated crazy and malevolence of Portland, but some people are willing to give it 'the old college try'. I've mentioned before that there have been complaints that the new park benches in the downtown shopping area called the Ped Mall have center arm rests. They say the only reason for them is to prevent homeless people from sleeping on the benches. Now they are mounting protests over the benches. I have to wonder how much this would actually help homeless people, especially considering we had freezing drizzle last night, we are going to have freezing drizzle tonight and freezing rain tomorrow night. Also, since the Ped Mall is also the location of a number of bars and clubs could the intent of the arm rests have been to keep drunken college students from sleeping on the benches? And finally, I know this one is crazy talk, but could the armrests be to give people a place to rest their arms?"

The other day I mentioned a quota-hire crashing a zillion-dollar US Navy warship. Michael G. sends it was even worse.

Over the past week or two I've reiterated how political correctness and identity politics are undermining education and dumbing down the whole population, leading to bridges collapsing and killing people, subliterate immigrants in government costume murdering people who call them for help, and quota-hires crashing billion-dollar ships. Michael now sends, "Would you be happy to find out your doctor went to Harvard? You won't in the future, since Harvard is rewriting its medical curriculum so that it complies with trans-gender activists rather than observed reality."

Dehumanizing a segment of the population is a precursor to genocide.

Hey remember when the Democrats were accusing the Republicans of being a "culture of corruption"?

On the other hand it's not unfair to say Republicans couldn't lead soldiers into a brothel.

And the next time you're in line at the supermarket and you see the people ahead of you with the gold jewelry and designer handbags and latest-model iPhone whipping out their EBT cards to pay for cartloads of the stuff you can never afford before wheeling it out to their Escalade, remember this. And not for the first time, that's what I have for neighbors.

But go ahead, keep calling me "racist".

"Let me guess: The parents are neither Republicans nor NRA members."

    Burn the government schools.

Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends "Another manufactured controversy: I saw this toy in Target a while back, thought my kids would like it, but decided it looked cheaply made and didn’t want yet another battery powered toy. I can’t wrap my head around why this stupid thing is controversial. It’s a decent premise and game model, use the clues to deduce which connection will stop the timer. It’s just wrapped up in a cartoony 'bomb' themed case. Are people really this milquetoast and weak-minded that a silly game that looks like a cartoon bomb is enough to induce sweats, panic, and the vapors? What a stupid rhetorical question, of course they are. It reminds me of the fuss around the infamous Playmobil Airport Security Checkpoint playset 10 years ago, a toy I deeply regret not buying at the time. Oddly, and this is telling, the Playmobil SWAT team sets aren’t controversial at all. I think I ranted about how militarized police is just another thing that’s there in the background for kids growing up now, and the non-issue of a SWAT team toy for 3-4 year olds is just a sign of that. My kids’ school had a full on lockdown yesterday because of 'suspicious activity in the area' and when I went to pick them up my they said they had a bad day. I asked them if it was because of the lockdown, and no, that was a non issue for them. My 9 year old’s bad day was that they played volleyball in gym class, which he doesn’t like, and my 6 year old didn’t get the flavor of cookie he likes best with lunch. I’m glad that they don’t scare easy, but at the same time, I’m a little disturbed that they take lockdowns as just part of the background noise."

  • Jacob follows with: "I can’t even. New Hampshire proposes restricting use of deadly force during arrests, cops respond 'we can’t do our job unless we can kill you and your dog with impunity while serving a warrant for not paying parking tickets that was meant for your next door neighbor.'" Michael G. now sends, "Oregon Gov wants mandatory at home surveillance of newborns. And if the Governor gets what she wants, what will be the next thing the government wants surveillance of? And the thing after that? And after that? Once again they think 1984 was an instruction manual, not a warning."
