Michael G. observes, "Citizen response to caravan invasion. Will this play into the enemy's hands?"

But those poor downtrodden desperate refugees aren't the people we need to worry about... RIGHT?

Michael then sends, "The walk away movement needs to expand - to walk away from K12 public schools, which might just as well be the Democrat party." Burn the government schools.

Virulent envirofascism was one component of John Ringo's horror story, The Road to Damascus, which I finished rereading yesterday, leading to food shortages and economic collapse. But that was just a story... RIGHT?

And nothing like that could ever happen here... RIGHT? Some of this, you do [Ctrl]-[H] on the buzzwords, and it's right out of the novel. Or a Nuremberg Rally.

Think about the kind of people who oppose self-defense.

But remember, you right-wing knuckle-dragging misogynist Nazi, you should be banned from the internet for advocating violence.

This is why racism still exists. Republican NRA members with MAGA hats never IMAGINE acting this way.

    Where's your ballot?

    Down goes Germany.

But that's not something we need to worry about... right? Which segues to:

Michael G. sends, "2nd 'refugee' caravan is even more peaceful than the first. In the Progressive's opposites day sense, of course."

  • And any cop who tries to not open the border to rapists and murderers and plague-carriers gets sued by the ACLU, as Michael observes, "For following Federal law on detaining aliens rather than State law. Didn't Montana try one of those firearms freedom acts, where if a gun was made in the state, sold in the state and only used in the state it wasn't subject to federal firearms law? And didn't the first person to try it get arrested and lost in court because the judge ruled Federal laws had supremacy? Where was the Montana ACLU supporting state laws over fed laws in that case?"
  • But they keep telling us to "work within" their system.

Michael G. sends "Media refuse to run Trump ad on immigration. Proving once again that Trump is just like Hitler. Why, I can't remember all the times after Hitler became Fuhrer that the German press refused to run his advertisements and messages. Maybe the reason I can't remember it is because it never happened."

Followed by a three part series on the invasion caravan: "Last paragraph of the last installment: 'These are not people casting off their old lands. On the contrary, they are taking their screwed-up homes on tour, and showing the world just how bad they are firsthand. But I will say that increasingly, nobody can look at their home countries and suppose the way things are is an accident. For people trying to flee lawlessness and violence, it’s curious how insistent they seem on bringing them along for the journey.'"

It is not unfair or prejudicial to automatically assume allegations of criminality by Republicans are false and by Democrats are true. It's a pattern.

Seen in comments to that death squad article:

“Citizens may resist unlawful arrest to the point of taking an arresting officer's life if necessary.” Plummer v. State, 136 Ind. 306. This premise was upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case: John Bad Elk v. U.S., 177 U.S. 529. The Court stated: “Where the officer is killed in the course of the disorder which naturally accompanies an attempted arrest that is resisted, the law looks with very different eyes upon the transaction, when the officer had the right to make the arrest, from what it does if the officer had no right. What may be murder in the first case might be nothing more than manslaughter in the other, or the facts might show that no offense had been committed.”

“An arrest made with a defective warrant, or one issued without affidavit, or one that fails to allege a crime is within jurisdiction, and one who is being arrested, may resist arrest and break away. lf the arresting officer is killed by one who is so resisting, the killing will be no more than an involuntary manslaughter.” Housh v. People, 75 111. 491; reaffirmed and quoted in State v. Leach, 7 Conn. 452; State v. Gleason, 32 Kan. 245; Ballard v. State, 43 Ohio 349; State v Rousseau, 241 P. 2d 447; State v. Spaulding, 34 Minn. 3621.

“When a person, being without fault, is in a place where he has a right to be, is violently assaulted, he may, without retreating, repel by force, and if, in the reasonable exercise of his right of self defense, his assailant is killed, he is justified.” Runyan v. State, 57 Ind. 80; Miller v. State, 74 Ind. 1.

“These principles apply as well to an officer attempting to make an arrest, who abuses his authority and transcends the bounds thereof by the use of unnecessary force and violence, as they do to a private individual who unlawfully uses such force and violence.” Jones v. State, 26 Tex. App. I; Beaverts v. State, 4 Tex. App. 1 75; Skidmore v. State, 43 Tex. 93, 903.

“An illegal arrest is an assault and battery. The person so attempted to be restrained of his liberty has the same right to use force in defending himself as he would in repelling any other assault and battery.” (State v. Robinson, 145 ME. 77, 72 ATL. 260).

“Each person has the right to resist an unlawful arrest. In such a case, the person attempting the arrest stands in the position of a wrongdoer and may be resisted by the use of force, as in self- defense.” (State v. Mobley, 240 N.C. 476, 83 S.E. 2d 100).

“One may come to the aid of another being unlawfully arrested, just as he may where one is being assaulted, molested, raped or kidnapped. Thus it is not an offense to liberate one from the unlawful custody of an officer, even though he may have submitted to such custody, without resistance.” (Adams v. State, 121 Ga. 16, 48 S.E. 910).

“Story affirmed the right of self-defense by persons held illegally. In his own writings, he had admitted that ‘a situation could arise in which the checks-and-balances principle ceased to work and the various branches of government concurred in a gross usurpation.’ There would be no usual remedy by changing the law or passing an amendment to the Constitution, should the oppressed party be a minority. Story concluded, ‘If there be any remedy at all ... it is a remedy never provided for by human institutions.’ That was the ‘ultimate right of all human beings in extreme cases to resist oppression, and to apply force against ruinous injustice.’” (From Mutiny on the Amistad by Howard Jones, Oxford University Press, 1987, an account of the reading of the decision in the case by Justice Joseph Story of the Supreme Court.

As for grounds for arrest: “The carrying of arms in a quiet, peaceable, and orderly manner, concealed on or about the person, is not a breach of the peace. Nor does such an act of itself, lead to a breach of the peace.” (Wharton’s Criminal and Civil Procedure, 12th Ed., Vol.2: Judy v. Lashley, 5 W. Va. 628, 41 S.E. 197).

Police are not the good guys. The laws are wrong and to enforce them is evil.

I'd go farther and say Constitutional Carry, but I'll take any movement in the right direction as long as the movement is maintained."

Then, "Today's point and laugh: In Nevada a Democrat lost a state legislature seat in a landslide to a Republican brothel owner who was dead. I'd like to see more of this, dead whore mongers are way less dangerous to our rights than live whore mongers are."

    And the colleges too.

    Lying RINO backstabbing from California.

Speaking of the Left Coast, no really gun control success story.

African-Americans barred from applying for government jobsOH. WAIT.

    But they call us "racist".

Many times I've referred to things as "entertainment rot". Art is rotting too, as Michael G. observes: "Seattle preparing art based Kafka trap. That's not what they're calling it but it is pretty obvious to people who pay attention to what they've done in the past. If the art you own, or display or even like is based too much on your own culture and ancestry you are racist for excluding others, and if it is based too much on other cultures you are racist for appropriating, and in other case the mob will be unleashed on you. And where is the sweet spot that is neither exclusionary or appropriating? It doesn't exist! This is all merely another way for them to exert power, and even if you are thoroughly cowed and do whatever you are told you might be chosen at random to be the sacrificial victim to keep others cowed. How soon does Portland copy this?"

But remember, peasant, suppression of Conservative opinion doesn’t happen and it doesn’t affect your career.

  • Now connect that dot to this one and this one. Eighty years ago anyone suspected of being Jewish was a "red flag". Forty years ago anyone suspected of being "intellectual" was a "red flag". Now, anyone suspected of being conservative can expect to have their rights violated, their property stolen, their careers ruined, and even their very lives at risk.
  • By which I mean, over the past few days I've made comparison of thugs in America, like Antifa and black street gangs, to Kristallnacht. That comparison is valid. 'Rank and file municipal police officers were ordered by their superiors to “stand down;” to watch, observe, but not to contain the mob violence occurring on the streets. There are several instances of police inaction during the rioting.'
  • The other day was the judge who lost an election and expressed his tantrum through releasing every juvenile offender which came before his bench. Today Michael G. sends, "Federal judge blocks Keystone pipeline. Says it hasn't been studied enough. Are we up to three lawless judges in two days now? Is it a spate?"

That Tennessee legislator was a very indignant black woman, if I recall correctly. And that, and this from a year ago, is why racism still exists. Not Republican NRA members with MAGA hats. Which I have pondered.

The gay couple never filed a complaint, respected the florist's beliefs and accepted her offer to find them a florist of equivalent skill who was willing to do the job." So how did the tax-paid persecutors even find out about it?

It's not racist if WAKANDA!!! really is like this.

But hey let's bring even more of those people into our country.

Action in North Carolina, Tuesday the 20th.

I am suddenly reminded of a temp assignment I had, years ago, to inventory a bunch of computer equipment and make a spreadsheet of it. I completed the task, put the file on a floppy disk (yes, that long ago) and handed it to the Information Technology guy for the whole company. ...Who had no idea what to do with it. The rot has been spreading for a long time.

  • Michael G. sends, "Women never lie about assault! I especially like the line at the bottom that they didn't use liar's name in the story because she had never been charged with a crime. Why not? I don't even insist on prison time, just something to give her a felony record to serve as a red flag the next time she goes off on someone she hasn't seen in years because her feelings were hurt back in the day."
  • But keep working within their system.
  • OR ELSE.
  • "...[S]he meant to draw and fire her Taser, not her gun." Not the first time we've heard that excuse. Or the third or fourth or maybe the twentieth.
  • "...[W]oman who was wrongfully convicted of drug charges and sent to prison with the help, in part, of a rogue federal law enforcement officer." And the pig isn't swinging from a gallows because...?

    The World Sucks

Republican NRA members with MAGA hats don't act like this.

Burn all the government schools, all around the world. It seems Common Core is alive and crippling young minds in Japan.

To which dot Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, timely connects: "The rot spreads. Seriously, New Zealand? High school seniors don’t know the word 'trivial'? Hell, my 6 year old knows what 'trivial' means."

Then, "The New York Slimes blames California wildfires on those nasty people who insist on living outside of cities. Herd ‘em into the cities, disarm them, and control the masses oh so much more efficiently." Which I have also pondered.

Michael G. sends, "The Last Centurion was just a novel, right? And Fallen Angels too?" (ref & ref)

"Perhaps you can comfort her by telling her that although, thanks to folk like you, he didn’t have a gun to defend himself, at least he wasn’t shot."

    Aaaaand Quislings.

    Monopolistic censorship which segues to:

  • "Finally some are getting around to calling it what it was: Extortion."
  • Ex post facto "law"
  • Speaking of made-up malum prohibitum "laws", the libertarian position on prostitution is anti-prohibition. Think about the kind of people who get wrist-slaps and tax-funded pensions for doing the same things they'd destroy any of our lives over.
  • Remember, peasant, only police can be trusted with guns. Because they have all that training.
  • Seriously, these steroid-addled impulse-control-lacking sociopaths aren't even safe from each other. Remember all these things every time you see any cop of any kind.
  • The place where Britain used to be. Click through and look how proud the costumed sociopath is to be robbing people at the implied point of a government gun.
  • Two years ago now I accused the anti-self-defense perverts of having genocidal fantasies AND NOW THEY PROVE ME RIGHT IN SO MANY OF THEIR OWN WORDS.
  • To which dot connect.
  • Years ago I wrote, "Finally, the real shock sank in: He hadn't seen a single police officer since he boarded the shuttle at Geneva. On one hand, the immigrant was intimidated by the sight of so many armed people, but on the other, exhilarated: for the first time in his life, he didn't have to worry about UNPF troops - the United Nations Police Force, faceless behind riot-armor masks - halting and searching him for no particular reason, or simply opening fire on someone they judged suspicious with their automatic shotguns." Now Michael G. sends, sometimes the system works, but that's not the way to bet: "Pigs are flying! The man charged with assault-by-panic-attack was acquitted, working within their system. I don't call it a win, the process is the punishment, but at least it was a better result than experience has led us to expect." The problem remains; a victim of assault and kidnapping now has a "criminal" record for attempting to resist being assaulted and kidnapped. The real criminals will keep expecting to get away with it until real consequences are applied to them.

More riots downtown today. As I type this at 10am I predict the police will stand around watching while communists assault and attempt to murder patriots. I would also not be surprised if a leftist acquires a firearm, with appropriately-scary aesthetics, and uses it to mow down Republican NRA members with MAGA hats, while pretending to be one. Because that's how socialists have always operated.

We can all be pretty sure it was not Republican NRA members with MAGA hats doing this either.

Which kind of segues to the "Republican war on science".

  • Michael G. sends, "DC Police tactics are to act like an army of occupation. And surprise! it turns out that when you trade liberty for temporary security you lose both liberty and security." Fear the "protectors" more than what they claim to protect us from.
  • Then, "Law of Self Defense: Unarmed force can be deadly force. Andrew Branca looks at a man convicted of murder and sentenced to 25 years in Texas for unintentionally killing a man he was trying to subdue physically. The law defines deadly force by its effects, not by the means it was delivered. If your bare hand attack can be lethal, you can only use it against people who are an immediate threat to others. And not a drunk urinating in public. Note that the killer is the husband of a sheriff's deputy." Which is also a thing I have pondered.
  • "The ACLU does not support due process."
  • Which leads to the genocidal fantasies which bear repeating.

I must be mistaken, everyone knows we are the Nazis of today's world."

"Black people are no longer oppressed." Though some are becoming oppressors....

  • Already observed from The Captain's Journal: small-town police chief won't enforce I-1639. I have questions. The $500 fine isn't so big, the court costs help there, but if this happens every time these jerks do this kind of thing maybe they will learn." The pickup had earlier been used in a smash and grab burglary of guns at a pawn shop. The suspect arrested has a Hispanic name. What is his status? If illegal, did Colorado's sanctuary policies have anything to do with his presence? Or could he be a DACA dreamer? And where were the stolen guns intended to go, or were they just going to be sold off to anyone with cash? Also the dead teacher sounds like a real bleeding heart liberal. Did any of his actions while alive contribute to the criminality that led to his death? Nobody would ever dream of setting up a panel of doctors who would decide to euthanize you if they decide that you’re not practical to treat." And they laughed at Sarah Palin....

Jacob follows with: "Entitlement. OK, so this person has a college degree and works a food service job for minimum wage. I wonder what she majored in? I understood when when I started college that not every major lead to a decent career path. I knew from elementary school that I wanted to be a teacher, and I really love ancient history. So in college I majored in physical chemistry and took history classes for fun. (I ended up with a history degree in addition to my chemistry doctorate, but that was later on, for fun, once I had an established teaching career.) Why physical chemistry? Because science teachers are always WAY more in demand than history teachers, and also because chemistry allowed me a fallback career path in the pharmaceutical industry as well. Do I like physics and chemistry? Yes, but not as much as I like History, but there’s just no money to be made as a historian. So I chose to do something I didn’t like as much in order to ensure a better future for myself. And you know what? Those choices I made 25 years ago paid off, since I’ve never been out of work since 1999. Sure, I’ve changed jobs a bunch, and I’ve had some jobs that really sucked, but I’ve always been able to find jobs that had actual paychecks. And nobody gave me handouts, and I never took money from the government, and I paid for my schooling by working a job while I went to school, and I never expected society at large to pay my way. And the reason I’m trapped in NY has more to do with the fact that I have a decent career and a bunch of kids who have friends and lives, and I’m too lazy at this point in my life to start over (and more importantly, make my kids start over) somewhere else, and evil NY has been boiling this frog slowly, so I’ve found that I can take more crap than I thought I’d ever put up with. At least I live upstate away from the pit of hell that is NYC. So the bottom line is that I compromised on the hopes, dreams, and idealism of youth and took the more economically sound route, and in the end, I have a mostly tolerable life, and I don’t man a deep fryer for a living. Wow, that turned into quite a rant."

Then, "Well, whaddya know. Hurricanes more destructive than ever. Note the subheading: 'It has surprisingly little to do with climate change.' It has everything to do with building too much luxury housing on the beaches."

As for college, Michael G. sends, "Another college to add to the Avoid/Ignore list. That is, avoid allowing anyone you care about to attend and ignore anyone who graduates from there. They would have made the list just by having a 'Social Justice Month', but paying the Hogglet to speak during that month is further confirmation." Jacob evidently went to college when something useful could still be expected of the experience and the expense. Nowadays, in my view, not going at all is the smarter choice.

And for the love of whatever gods you choose, get your children out of the government schools.

Real Space Enthusiasts Hate NA$A I have my own vision for Mars.

Old Media, Illustrated. Which segues to,

This is real socialism. Every time.

Science fiction author Larry Niven postulated organlegging, abducting and murdering people to steal or sell their organs as spare parts. But that was just a story... RIGHT?

    Among other Contributions to Society.

Hey remember when the National Socialists discriminated against certain kinds of businesses?

  • Tattooed gang member shoots person for cell phone. Truthful.
  • And lest that be seen as harsh, remember years back when a toddler was blamed, by the police, for not getting out of the way of the grenade they threw in his face at the wrong address? It's a pattern of behavior. Any cop. Anywhere. Of any kind.
  • Prohibition is the greater evil.

Constitutional Carry action in North Carolina, again. If I ever do escape this horrible place, where self-defense is against the law and the police are on the side of the mobs, Constitutional Carry will be the litmus test and first cut.

That same natural human right to keep and bear arms includes knives and I demand jail time or a noose for any hypocritical thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife, and for any prosecutor-persecutor or unstable-freak-in-black-robes who upheld such bigotry.

Increments in Italy? Maybe they're getting tired of all those "vibrant contributions".

In TrumpKeepsHappening news, Michael G. sends, "Supreme Court rules a species must actually live in a habitat for it to be critical habitat. Even the Obama judges couldn't bring themselves to say that an area where a species is unable to live is critical habitat for that species."

    The World Sucks

THIS HORRIBLE PLACE AND THE POLICE ARE OBEYING ORDERS TO BE ON THE SIDE OF THE MOBS. "Tied with Vancouver, Washington [just across the river, the mass-transit systems are connected], Portland is the most depressed city in the entire United States." IT'S NOT JUST ME THIS PLACE REALLY IS THAT BAD.

Speaking of establishments taking the side of the creatures that want to destroy them, the place where Sweden used to be.

And the GOP is doing what for us?

In support of my don't-go-to-college position, Students at Williams College Demand Freedom from Speech. I'm starting to see some of the results in the workplace, especially on auction day, when the drivers show up from the temp services, put themselves in positions to harm others or be harmed, and become furious at the slightest criticism or even basic instruction.

Which segues to, there was that bridge collapse in Florida due to diversity hires, there have been ship collisions at sea due to diversity hires, and now there's an allegation of mass murder due to diversity hires.

Which is not unrelated to entertainment rot. To which dot connect.

Michael G. sends the cultural vibrancy of the day: "Some good questions on immigration no one wants to answer. And as a personal observation, note the broad overlap between those supporting no borders and those wanting to end vaccinations. Go team pandemic!"

Followed by, "Right wing Republican anti-Semite calls for elimination of IsraelOH. WAIT."

But Immigrants Contribute So Much to Society.

    Again with the lynch mob....

Your Tax Dollars At Work, dehumanizing and demonizing a segment of the population as a precursor to genocide. You don't have enough ammunition and you haven't been getting enough practice.

Commit massive vote fraud, get paid more in one year than I work for in some decades.

  • Paving the way for death squads in Wyoming.
  • Infringements and discrimination in Detroit and Florida.
  • To which Michael G. adds, "Sioux City, Iowa bans the carrying of BB guns. 'Outside of the city’s council chambers, Sioux City Sergeant Scott Hatting held up a BB gun police confiscated three years ago from a shoplifting case turned robbery.... He says the goal is to stop a major crime before it happens.' Yeah, you'll shoot your eye out, kid."
  • Remember, peasant, work within their system.
  • OR ELSE.
  • Never trust a cop of any kind or anything that looks like one.

All that complaining about entertainment rot and media bias and someone is doing something about it.

    This is not funny because
it reminds me of the temps who
show up to drive on auction day.
And some of the people who've
worked there for elebenteen years too.

In the alternate-history TV series The Man in the High Castle, J. Edgar Hoover is an enthusiastic National Socialist and head of the Reich Bureau of Investigation. Maybe that history isn't so "alternate" after all.

They really do hate us and fantasize about waging genocide against us.

    Immigrants Contributing to Society Vibrantly

Meanwhile in one of those third-world tinpot-dictatorship banana republics, the secret police threaten to depose their president by forceOH. WAIT. You should buy more ammunition now.

Enemy action in Florida and for all you Fudds who think none of that will apply to granpa's sporterized Springfield, "...[T]hey don’t define sniper rifle, so presumably that is going to cover every bolt action rifle with a scope on it." And you thought Matthew Bracken was writing fiction.

Michael G. sends "Even when they're right, they're wrong. National Review's Robert Verbruggen says that the Executive branch doesn't have the power to ban bumpstocks. But he says Congress has the power to ban bumpstocks, and that they should." Also Trump godsdammit stop.

Then, "Poor, uneducated people have no rights. I don't do Twitter because I didn't see a use for it, but apparently it is good for letting progs commit DC gaffes, i.e. inadvertently saying what you really believe." Which segues to:

  • Think about the kind of people
  • who don't believe you have a right to defend yourself.
  • In this horrible place, as in most others, that would be the government and the police. On the side of the mobs.
  • Think also about the kind of people who seek a career that gives them power over others.
  • Your Tax Dollars At Work, helping costumed sociopaths get away with murder.
  • And that is neither slander nor hyperbole.
  • Dangling from streetlights along every Airport Way in the country, birds pecking at their lifeless eyes....
  • Nobody needs a silencer! Only assassins and criminals use silencers! [Police department spends tax dollars on silencers]
  • Weapons of war have no place on our streets! The only purpose for these weapons is to kill a lot of people quickly! [Department of Homeland Security spends tax dollars on grenade launchers]
  • Michael G. sends, "A deputy was called to a car / deer collision. A bystander wanted to buy a salvage tag from the deputy. The deputy refused. Later the deputy was seen sawing the antlers off the carcass. He did not have a salvage tag but even if he had, a salvage tag requires the removal of the entire carcass not just part. So by my count the deputy violated the law at least twice." Because he expected to get away with it. Because his union and his "brothers in blue" made him believe he could.

Will SCOTUS actually rein in the armed robbery in costume?

Anne McCaffrey's shellpeople series postulated people with severe injuries or birth defects being implanted in ships, or city control centers, so they could live full and useful lives. Something like that? Of course I have a different approach....

    TRUMP GODSDAMMIT and Fairfax too.

Oh look yet another fake hate crime. Because there still aren't enough real ones and haven't been for decades.

    But there is entertainment rot.

And then, landlord tells Harvard student to move out for being JewishOH. WAIT.

Do you want to know why racism still exists? This is why racism still exists. Pointing it out is not racist. The behavior is racist and the people doing it are racist. Racism is not my fault, or Trump's, or the NRA's. Racism is THEIR fault.

Here is your they-are-all-so-f***ing-ignorant o' the day.

To which dot connect your tax dollars at work.

    Aaaaaand burn the government schools

    Aaaaaand the colleges too.

Think about the kind of parents who don't want anyone defending their children.

    All those totalitarian dystopian stories....

Michael G. sends, "My baby got sick and died after I drug her across a desert and river: it's the US gov.'s fault."

Among all those other Contributions to Society.

  • Soooo, yeah, Big Brother really is watching.
  • Which Michael G. segues to, "There is no deep state protecting the left - and it is just coincidence that the FBI has raided the home of a whistle blower who was exposing the Clinton Foundation."
  • Think about the kind of people who don't want women able to defend themselves against sexual predators and domestic abusers.
  • Remember, peasant, only police can be trusted with guns. Because they have all that training.
  • Remember, peasant, you don't need a gun because police will be there to protect you.
  • And remember, peasant, no one is above the law.
  • Nobody is safe anywhere near cops. Not even other cops.
