The World Sucks

Everything gets worse all the time in this horrible place. And how exactly is this "law" going to be enforced?

Burn the colleges....

  • “We may have put a convicted pedophile in a small room with two young boys, but you’re not responsible enough to own a scary looking black rifle.”
  • But knowingly spreading a deadly disease is just fine.
  • Gun Control Success Story!
  • Hey tell me again how "law enforcement supports the Second Amendment".
  • Remember, peasant, only the government can be trusted with guns. Because they have all that training. And I no longer regret never having served in the military.
  • Their
  • System.
  • Work within it.
  • OR ELSE.
  • When Jose Guerena was murdered, the death squad kept paramedics out until they were sure he was dead. Michael G. sends now, "Broward Sheriff's dept. refused to let paramedics enter school 6 times. Do you suppose the on scene commander thought it was a SWAT bust that had gone wrong?"
  • And while you're adjusting your tinfoil hat, observe how the Vegas narrative changes, again.

Not sure I've ever linked anything from Pat Buchanan before, and I'm certainly not joining the "thin blue line" bootlickers, but "Is white America really black America's biggest problem?" When our taxes have been paying for their widescreens and iPhones and Nikes and Cadillacs for how many years? Really.

    Burn the government schools.

  • "Law Enforcement Supports the Second Amendment"
  • "Work Within Their System"
  • This video begins with a list of the kind of career criminals and serial rapists who don't want their victims able to defend themselves. And they're also all so f***ing ignorant.
  • A sane society used to hang armed robbers by the neck until dead. No matter what costume they were wearing.

Michael G. sends "Another Immigrant Contributing to Society: The second time he illegally entered the US was 2016. No doubt the administration was too busy importing additional votes for the Democratic party to worry about a minor thing like stopping the entry of a convicted attempted murderer."

But that's not something we need to worry about right?

Hey, "Authorized" "Journalists", actions have consequences. Fear the one whom you have left with nothing to lose. The same warning applies to the bureaucrats, the legislators, and their costumed-sociopath enforcers....

Michael G. sends, "The world is full of stupid and angry people, and most of them live in this horrible place." Which segues to:

  • "Jizya is a per capita yearly tax historically levied by Islamic states on certain non-Muslim subjects...." Yes, I am equating the Gaystapo's oppression of non-pervert majorities to Islam's oppression of non-Muslim minorities. Could say some things about South Africa too.
  • Remember, peasant, only police can be trusted with guns. Because they have all that training.
  • Bears repeating: “This is what happens when you register your guns.”
  • "Protect" and "Serve" WHO?

A while back I described, "The city council had been enamored of Arboria on Adams' World, and the Maze in Rosalia on Albion. During Aurora's last visit, the tallest building in Arriod had been twelve stories; now there were six over thirty. Nor were they simple towers blocking sunlight, but something approaching ziggurats or step pyramids, each level boasting patios and gardens. Some even had soil two or more stories deep in which trees could take root, providing little patches of forest in the sky. Bridges connected these buildings at multiple levels, some appearing to be made of arched brick, others of riveted steel and suspension cables, still others of wood, with ivy creeping along them and up the walls of the buildings themselves. Still other bridges seemed to be insubstantial and fairie-like, with delicately-sweeping arches of armorglas giving unobstructed views to the surface a hundred and more meters below. It was a city park above the city. Aurora and her Family found it charming." Kinda like this but on a much larger scale, and as a deliberate and coordinated program.

And then I got out of bed and
    went back to work.

Michael G. sends, "NY attack on NRA insurance also attacks rule of law. But tyrants gotta tyrant. Who cares if it sets a precedent that could also be used against the Left, the Left ignores precedent anyway."

He then sends even more from this horrible place: "Where YOUR speech is violence but THEIR violence is speech."

    And the rot keeps spreading.

Is the FAA sacrificing your safety for diversity? It's not like anything of that sort has ever happened before or could ever happen again.

To which dot connect a recent SCOTUS ruling on gay wedding cakes, "so narrow as to not set any sort of precedent whatsoever." No help from that direction....

Way back here I pondered people who spend a lot of money on gear but can't actually hit anything. Get some training and then get some competition. -Of course this has relevance; the government thugs really believe their "training" of hardly a box of cartridges per year makes them superior to us, the true enthusiasts, who will fire three or four or ten times that in a weekend without ever hurting anybody. (The worst injury I've ever seen in fifteen years of competition shooting was the guy who broke his wrist mountain-biking with his son the weekend before.) Which segues to:

  • Michael G. sends, "Cops in New Hampshire arrest a man for 'defaming the police'. He should have known better than commit Lèse-majesté."
  • I mean it's not like police ever behave in a manner which is open to criticism.
  • "...Sheriff Mark Napier, local police, the FBI, and Homeland Security wouldn't respond to their calls for help or requests for cadaver dogs" to investigate a possible child-sex-slavery-and-murder camp. Is Napier getting a percentage too?
  • Gosh I can't imagine what kind of people could do such things, or what kind of people would want to cover that up.
  • Four years and a week ago, costumed sociopaths threw a grenade in a baby's face. Now they've done it again. Over a plant? One of these days the animals-in-government-costume are going to hit the wrong wrong-address.

Remember, peasant, nobody needs an AK-47 for home defense. -I used to denigrate the AR family, in these same pages, as being underpowered, unreliable, and made of soft gooey aluminum. Now I build them.... As for the Great Divide between AR and AK, my answer would be "yes", based on logistics - which one can you resupply from the corpses of your enemies?

Several times in this journal and in my fictional future history I have postulated advanced prosthetics. I am presently writing about a lifelike gynoid. Michael G. sends, working on it.

Speaking of my fictional future history, I've written about alien reptiles with reflective scales. Yeah, like that.

I also wrote, "Energy-storage had improved vastly since the Escape; the Casetti M437 plasma pistol Danner and much of the crew usually wore carried 27 standard charges of 1.3 kilojoules each. The New Texas Arms MkLX rifle, Marine Corps issue, carried fifty charges of 6.4kJ in the standard configuration; the Delta variant took power from the Mobile Infantry's armor." Working on that sort of thing too.

Didn't I just observe how diversity kills?

Remember, peasant, all you knuckle-dragging mouth-breathing rednecks in flyover country should be more like civilized, enlightened, environmentally-conscious California.

    Epic Hypocrisy, Chapter MMMMMCDLXV.

"People accept no responsibility for the acts of psychopaths. Suggesting we should borders on psychotic. Proposing laws to punish us instead of criminals is insanity."

Speaking of disconnects from reality, yeah, sure, the guns made them do it.

To which dot further connect, Starbucks will be completing its corporate suicide soon, and the CEO wants to take the rest of the country with it. At the point of a government gun.

    Which segues to:

  • Remember, peasant, trust the government and register your guns.
  • David "Little Adolf" Hogg gets SWATted. I'm really ambivalent about that. I mean, this is exactly the kind of totalitarian jackbootism he's demanding be applied to us, right? Best case, it will alert more people to the dangers of militarized police. -Which phrase is an insult to the military, yes.
  • Which segues to, "In a civil society, [Broward County Deputy Scot FILTHY COWARD Peterson would] be in the stocks in the center of town as people waked by to rub s***, literal animal s***, in his face. Maybe it’s time we bring that back."
  • Yeah. "Heroes".
  • "One has to wonder if this is not a deliberate strategy by the current governor of Virginia to deliberately harass those citizens who legally carry under state law." I'm not wondering anymore. The steroid-addled subliterate incompetent sociopaths in government costume can't stand the idea of anyone being more competent in any field, or being able to resist their state-sanctioned predations.
  • "If justice were being done, the courts would be overwhelmed with trials of serial Muslim rapists and other Muslim felons -- as well as with the trials of the British police, politicians, journalists, social workers, and others who covered their crimes up over a period of decades." Everything Hitler did was "legal" too.

    The World Sucks

The Gleiwitz Incident was fabricated by National Socialist Germany to justify their invasion of and war of aggression against Poland. But that sort of thing could never happen here... RIGHT?

Hey remember how warnings against a homosexual agenda targeting children were called "paranoid"?

It's not paranoia if they really are out to get us.

No longer regretting never having served in the military, Chapter MMMMMCDLXVI.

Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, asks: "Is that what we’re calling it now? So apparently it’s now 'gender confirmation surgery' rather than 'gender reassignment surgery'. I’m reminded of this passage from Nineteen Eighty-Four: 'Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten.' This calls to mind the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis about language determining thought. It’s very difficult to discuss concepts if your language has no words for them.
"For the most part, I have little concern about what people do to themselves. What bugs me is that the term 'gender' has a very specific meaning from a biological point of view, and linguistic games like 'gender confirmation surgery' disguise the physical reality of what is being done and hides it under this layer of emotional goodthink that is illogical and unscientific. These sort of things encourage the idea that, somehow, how you feel should outweigh observational reality and scientific, logical methodology.
"This kind of 'thinking' leads to the extremely invalid conclusion that all opinions and ideas are equally valid, which is probably the most pernicious contribution of postmodernism. Counterfactual ideas and opinions have no validity at all, because they contradict observable reality. But I guess the goal is to eliminate the notion of observable reality completely.
"Sorry for the rant, but this thing really irks me."

  • In this horrible economic-death-spiral place - and yours too I bet - there are parking meters, and parking enforcement officers, who blatantly lie and issue false tickets to generate revenue for their masters, from which they get a de facto percentage. (How do such creatures live with themselves.) Robbery in costume, backed up by armed robbery in other costumes. Well, this discourages people from going downtown, right? So the shops and attractions lose money and go out of business or relocate, so the city government loses their various tax/fee/permit/extortion/graft revenues. Meanwhile gangs and druggies and layabouts set up camp on the very steps of the Portland Art Museum and their needles crunch underfoot as one goes to opera night (emerging after the show to find a fraudulent parking ticket stuck on their car) - and then they stop going to the opera, and they don't spend money on a nice dinner in a swanky restaurant afterward anymore either. And more places go out of business and fewer people want anything to do with downtown and more scum take over more sidewalks and more places go out of business and so on. And how does the city government propose to make up this financial shortfall, necessary for their vital, vital services like catered veeegan luncheons for the Third Assistant Undersecretary to the Fourth Deputy Director to the Special Assistant to the Mayor's Cousin's Niece? By installing even more parking meters and stepping up enforcement.
  • Aaaaand New Jersey. Blaming and punishing and robbing at the point of a government gun everyone who didn't hurt anybody.
  • I have observed in these pages how a bad and/or dirty cop will screw up publicly enough to get fired, then quickly get hired in another jurisdiction, some of them, depending on length of "service", getting two or three tax-funded pensions. Michael G. sends, I was right, again.
  • "The magic sprinkling of government doesn’t make people better."
  • "I don’t want to hear one word about sympathy or support for LEOs."
  • Because there is no "law" they would not enforce and no order they would not obey.

They Are All So F***ing Ignorant, Chapter MMMMMCDLXVII. And they insist on forcing that ignorance down all of our throats at the point of a government gun of the very same kind they don't want us to have.

    Double Standards-fatigue....

"Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

For the elebenteenth time I tell you, they hate us and want us to die, in so very many of their own words.

So yesterday I was ranting on city governments and predatory enforcement of made-up malum prohibitum and widespread waste and fraud and maybe you thought I was a little over-the-top. BUT THEN THIS HAPPENS. -And of course such proposals are not a new idea.

Likewise, weeks ago I posted what is sure to be misinterpreted as a raaaaacist white supremacist manifesto and I haven't received any death threats probably because hardly anybody reads my stuff. Now explain - in small words - how this makes me "racist".

Speaking of psychotically-fraudulent wastes of tax money, "Green" "Energy".

    Immigrants, Contributing to Society....

There really is nothing holding it up.

Which probably segues to an update on that child-sex-and-murder-trafficking camp found in Arizona the other day, which the local authorities are suspiciously reluctant to investigate.

Which segues to the creeping spread of sharia on campus.

  • Which segues to, Michael G. sends the Don't Go to College, Where Due Process Goes to Die o' the Day: "False rape accuser sentenced to a year in jail - less the time she's already spent in jail, and the offense calls for SIX years in jail, but she made a plea bargain. I know people say 'baby steps' about small improvements from the status quo but this literally is baby steps. And the college is claiming that the falsely accused men suffered no consequences. And if you believe that you will happily pay tuition for that college."
  • Which segues to "No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed"OH. WAIT.
  • But tell me again how police will never come to my door to confiscate my guns.
  • Remember, peasant, only police can be trusted with guns.
  • Because they have all that training.
  • Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends: "They don’t like being on the receiving end: So an armed 'wellness team' shows up at Chelsea Manning’s house after Manning tweeted a suicide threat. Aside from the Newspeak name of the goon squad, Manning is very upset by this, calling it a 'police state' action. Well, lefties like Manning and company created and pushed the idea of 'wellness interventions', 'gun violence restraining orders', and 'extreme risk protection interventions' and placed the duty to enforce these on police, for whom all problems are nails and all answers are large hammers. The article is correct in its assertion that armed police aren’t the proper intervention in a mental health crisis, but is totally oblivious to the fact that people like Manning and the left created this mess in the first place."
  • To which dot bears repeating, Tucson Tom, benevolent donor of the Queen, sends: "Isn’t that sad that calling the police to someone’s house is attempted murder? But it is true." (Unless, of course, it's not.)
  • Because they like to hurt people and that's why they become cops.

Michael G. sends, "Golden rice, which has been genetically modified to prevent blindness in undernourished children, was judged safe to eat last week by the US Food and Drug Administration." "But why did they kowtow to the Left in delaying it so long?" Beeeeecause the left cares more about power, any kind of power over anyone and anything, more than preventing blindness in undernourished children? Or, since "the most important approvals are still awaited in the Philippines and Bangladesh, where the rice could have the greatest impact", maybe they only care about certain kinds of children...?

Hey you know those science-fiction novels - not least Michael Z. Williamson's - with advanced technology and super-smart weapons? Getting there.

Note that the party that the establishment says are Nazis is the one calling attention to this and trying to stop it from happening again. Not really surprising, nowadays the Left says the Jews are Nazis and those who say they want to kill all the Jews are the oppressed victims."

Then on campus, "They suspended a conservative freshman because people said that other people said she said offensive things."

  • Michael G. sends: "Harris County TX registrar fights to keep non-citizens on voting rolls. Everybody knows that it is supposed to be the government choosing their electorate, not the electorate choosing their government." But massive vote fraud doesn't exist...
  • ...and we should work within their system.
  • "Under this framework, teachers are vessels of the state and have all the police powers thereto." What could possibly go wrong.
  • "Requiring law enforcement to respond to an active shooter, from outside a school, has been shown to take too much time." If they don't just run and hide instead. But nnnooooo, no, gotta have that Magic Fairy-Dust of Government! Can't let the peasants do anything for themselves.
  • Vegas is still not adding up and neither is Parkland.
  • -Now, this Miguel guy at GFZ, obviously he's on our side; he points out police abuse of power, low standards, reckless behavior and so on. But then he appears to want those same people to throw grenades in babies' faces. Miguel, dude, both ways you cannot have it.
  • Because there are no good cops.
  • Of any kind, anywhere.
  • To which dot connect, I never acquired the coffee habit but I used to drink a lot of caffeinated soda. Way back in 2003, as I was beginning to shoot competitively, I weaned myself off the stuff, replacing it with - coincidentally - Country Time Lemonade, the powder for which I will continue to buy in the 2.33-kilogram can. But this is not Lighter News because there exist soulless unquestioning sadistic sociopaths in government costumes who would terrorize and rob a litle girl with a lemonade stand and expect to be rewarded for doing so.
  • The gun club I used to be a member of - established 1960 - has had some difficulties over the years with a particular downrange neighbor, who actually drilled holes in their own house and dropped obviously-unfired projectiles next to them to falsely accuse the club of being unsafe. Given all the fake hate crimes, the imaginary "Russian" "collusion" for somethingorother, the blatant lies and hypocrisy directed toward Our Kind for decades, a reasonable person has to wonder if this is more of the same.

Okay. So. I avoid shopping at Brownell's because they still carry HS Precision products, which were infamously endorsed by escaped murderer Lon Horiuchi, and because Brownell's has a whole separate law enforcement catalog besides. Still, Brownell's is a major supplier of parts and tools, they sponsor big competitions and, I admit, do some things for the Cause. Now connect all those dots to the looming-for-weeks-now threat of YouTube arbitrarily erasing Our Kind from their platform, and then this actually does happen:

Considering that much of my own content is showing people how guns work, I can expect to be censored as soon as GoogTube notices my existence. Fortunately I have most of the important stuff saved in files which I can just upload again... somewhere.

I live alone (with a floofy kitteh). The only humans I interact with on a regular basis are either at work, or on the internet. With very few exceptions, I work with stupid people, whom I would not trust with firearms or invite along on a range day. Can your shooting buddies be trusted?

In my fictional future history I postulate the United Nations, which evolves into the Terran Empire, deliberately introducing fertility-suppression chemicals into food and water supplies to reduce birth rates among "undesirable" populations. But that's just a paranoid conspiracy theory... right?

Any government-school employee who tries to not brainwash children is driven out and destroyed.

Speaking of brainwashing, Desert Hermit Joel has the Opposite Day o' the Day.

  • Several times in these pages I have called for TSA screeners to be hung from streetlights along every "Airport Way" in the country, birds pecking at their lifeless eyes.
  • How are we supposed to tell one costumed sociopath from another?
  • I have also said that police and military are not the same, and that every attempt to make them so ends in atrocity. Michael G. sends a timely example: "Military cops are cops first, military second, as this former AF cadet found out when he was expelled for demerits he accumulated doing undercover work OSI recruited him for, and OSI never showed up for his expulsion hearings even though they promised him they would." Never trust a cop of any kind.
  • Then, "Ohio State trustees vote for campus concealed carry! Oh, it's only for off duty cops, and only cops from certain agencies at that. Whoopee." Didn't I just say to never trust a cop of any kind.

Codrea observes the real "war on women".

I recently wrote, "...[T]he government-run schools of the time - in which attendance was mandatory, with punishments for parents who did not subject their children to the system! - treated students as little better than violent criminals, violating their privacy, suppressing their speech, often prescribing mood-altering drugs to any child who showed independence of thought. When children were bullied in the schoolyard, the victim was punished as severely as the attacker." I often say, in these pages, burn the government schools. Michael G. sends the example of the day: "Big surprise: People who say we have to change what is actually working 'for the children' are just after power and don't give a rat's ass about children's futures and well being. I'll bet her only regret about the killing at the school she is principal of is that a gun wasn't used so she can't blood dance for gun control."

    And then this happens too.

On which not-unrelated topic Codrea also opines.

And then this also happens. "The Washoe County School District has decided they prefer dead children and teachers over self-defense."

You know that saying, "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention"? Which I have also pondered.

It's not "racist" if it's true.

Soooo the other day I said I work with mostly stupid people and it appears to be true.

Herschel Smith ponders, “My family was nearly wiped out by big goverment who banned citizens from owning guns, so I’m going to support gun banning big government.”

Hey remember how we were called "paranoid" and "homophobic" for warning against a homosexual agenda to corrupt children? And note how all those "pride" marches just happen to take place on Father's Day....

Enemy action in the brainwashing factories in Virginia.

Any teacher who doesn't join in the washing is driven out and destroyed.

    Which leads to electoral warfare.

Speaking of washed brains, Michael G. sends, "Conservatives turning Constitution into theocracy. According to a professor who's definition of 'theocracy' apparently means permitting religious believers any rights at all." -I immediately wonder what "professor" Franke's position on Islam and "palestine" is....

Then in Boston, the historic tavern where the Tea Party - the first one, in 1773 - was planned, gets mobbed by violent bigots.

Then in blogbrother SMLE Fan's (yes I know his site is down, that's being looked into) state of Florida, they really do want to steal property from people who haven't done anything harmful or wrong. Who's the "criminal"?

    Which segues to:

  • If they really want dead cops on doorsteps coast-to-coast, that's almost Lighter News because it may not be as difficult as we fear: "...[M]ore than 600 rounds that Stockton police fired during a rolling gun battle with bank robbers last year... left a hostage dead by officers’ bullets...." Whereas one of Our Kind firing 600 rounds is a "nice match" or "good class".
  • But only police can be trusted with guns because they have all that "training". Civil war is horrible to contemplate but if that's what we're going up against I kinda like our odds.
  • Told you, never trust a cop of any kind: "This case illustrates the pitfalls of giving a statement to police."
  • Nor is it paranoia if Oregon courts really do support gun confiscators. "We believe the court has chosen to ignore Oregon statutes and has grossly bent the rules to accommodate the gun grabbers who filed a very late ballot measure. Now we have the Oregon Supreme Court working for the supporters of gun confiscation to do all they can to make sure this outrageous measure gets on the ballot."
  • But tell me again to work within their system.
  • The system that fines a man twenty thousand dollars for cutting down his own trees in his own yard.
  • "...[T]he failure of [Broward County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Scott Israel] to protect the kids at MSD High was the norm and not the exception." A reasonable person, familiar with current and recent events, has to legitimately ask how many of them are getting a percentage.
  • Two centuries ago it was said that “When Sir Robert Peel proposed to organize the police force of London, Englishmen said openly that half a dozen throats cut in Whitechapel every year would be a cheap price to pay for keeping such an instrument of tyranny out of the State’s hands.” AND THEY WERE RIGHT.

If they come for your guns, if they come for you, kill them, kill all they send, then hunt down and kill who sent them. Because they are going to murder you anyway and you have nothing left to lose.

Can you hit stuff with a rifle? Most of these lessons are taught at Project Appleseed and you should go there to learn them.

Michael G. sends the Not Paying Attention o' the Day: "Gay Americans arming themselves? This is news to people who have never heard of the Pink Pistols. They still don't recognize that the gun community supports anyone who arms and trains themselves to keep others from making them do what they don't want to do, as long as they don't try to force us to do what we don't want to do."

Imagine a "popular" "grassroots" movement that launches a national tour to promote their ideology but doesn't let anyone know where and when they will appear. Because no one will, except the real grassroots opposition, or the "movement"'s own subliterate hirelings.

Would you trust a bridge, or airplane, or piece of medical equipment, designed or built by people who were judged by the color of their skin?

It's not "racist" if it's true. Which segues to:

The kind of people who think we can't be trusted with guns.

Lest the gulag reference be seen as hyperbole, the place where Britain used to be is trying to murder a reporter for reporting on child-rape gangs. Think about that.

Hey I know, let's open the floodgates to immigrants who have no concept of the American culture of liberty and independence and then put them in charge of making the "laws".

And plague. Don't forget the plague. Michael G. sends, "Article lists states, cities with high numbers of un-vaccinated children. In case you want to avoid the locations of the next epidemics."

Butbutbut we need socialism to bring back extinct species! Like POLIO!

  • The previous regime weaponized the IRS against people who believe in the Constitution. Now come the kitten-stomping baby-burning sociopaths of BATFE. Who are already weaponized quite enough.
  • Also, "...be prepared to lie to your doctor."
  • Aaaaand what's the FBI's motto.
  • Astute Observation o' the Day: "Cops are, for the most part, lazy and unwilling to do anything unless their job depends on it. At this point, that means write tickets and asset forfeiture."
  • And when they do put down the doughnuts OH LOOK YET ANOTHER WRONG-ADDRESS RAID. "That means a man is morally justified in shooting anyone who comes in the door, cop or not."

No, really, Intuit are fraudulent bigots, no matter what excuses they make when they get caught discriminating against innocent people with legitimate businesses. If I had a business, I would take it elsewhere.

    Speaking of fraud, unions.

Speaking also of fraud, "white privilege".

Which segues to yet another request to explain, in small words, how this makes me "racist".

Quisling backstabbers misguided good intentions in Oklahoma.

Years ago now I wrote "...[G]overnment supplies rotting in warehouses, government funds evaporating under corruption and graft, the needy never getting a fraction of it, except when news cameras were present" AND I WAS RIGHT, AGAIN.

  • But remember, peasant, work within their system.
  • Down in Occupied California they're paying Danegeld. Over in World Murder Capitol Chicago they're giving police escort to rioters. Now up in Seattle, Michael G. sends tax-funded drug addictions.

  • "You harmed your children when you taught them to trust the cops."
  • There is no order police would not obey.

Michael G. sends, "Gang of 13 year olds armed with knives! Youth football team uses knives to rescue couple from car crash. Well we can't have that sort of thing! Where are the zero tolerance suspensions? The criminal charges against the kids and their coach?" And again, I demand jail time or a noose for any hypocritical thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife, and for any prosecutor-persecutor or unstable-freak-in-black-robes who upheld such bigotry.

I've already predicted that Starbucks will apologize itself right out of business. Schadenfreude.

The other day I said I work with mostly stupid people. Decades ago there was a book on that topic. IT'S TRUE.

Michael G. sends, "SPLC says real epidemic is white on black crime, and that black on white crime doesn't exist." Um, no, when my apartment was burglarized some fifteen years ago, it was black people who did it. And if any of my property ever was recovered it was vandalized, or ended up in some sticky-fingered sociopath's personal collection. I'm seeing little moral or functional difference between the racist thugs who steal my stuff, and the costumed thugs who are supposed to "protect" me from them.

    Which segues to:

  • Michael G. asks, "Are prosecutors out of control? I think we already know the answer. I can think of several other cases besides the ones mentioned in this article."
  • It's still not Republican NRA members committing all those crimes. And nobody wants to talk about that.
  • Tommy Robinson is the victim of an ongoing attempted murder.
  • In libertarian science fiction, not least my own, the United Nations are painted as the villains. "These are the monsters that the #Resistance wants to bring in and judge us." And I'm reminded of the very early days of Project Appleseed, when the practice targets simulated UN "peacekeeping" armored vehicles and illustrated which points would be vulnerable to rifle fire.
  • Remember, peasant, you don't need a gun because police will be there to protect you.
  • And now comes: "Two female students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas reported a 39-year-old campus guard for sexual harassment. One of the girls later died in the massacre." But that's just an isolated case of a single bad apple... RIGHT?
  • And if your local or state cops are ineffective or corrupt or cowardly child-molesters, you can always go to a higher and more trustworthy level of law enforcement... RIGHT?

Codrea observes even more Orwellian revisionism and psychological projection.

Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends: "More useless feel good crap. In many places, the trendiest environmental crap is to push for bans on plastic drinking straws. Once again, these consumer oriented bans are nearly worthless and do nothing except increase costs for the individual. The biggest chunk of plastic waste in the ocean, according to the above article: abandoned industrial fishing gear. And that ain’t getting solved by banning drinking straws."

He then expands on the Wilder book-banning: "So apparently, the Little House on the Prairie series is now to be condemned as racist. But we should be happy, because they aren’t saying outright to burn it in the public square just yet. These books are historical fiction, and the attitudes expressed by the characters (who are based on real people, mind you) are those that were common back then. But Laura Ingalls Wilder (whose character and in real life was far from a racist and often questioned her parents’ attitude toward the Native Americans and blacks) must be a racist because she wrote about racist people accurately. And of course, had she suppressed the societal racism of her childhood, she would still be condemned for presenting an image of the past that ignored patriarchal white supremacist colonialism."

Michael G. observes, "Canada isn't Rotherham - yet. Gang of Muslims convicted of raping 14 year old girl. But will we see something like France? Gun Confiscation Ballot Measure Dead, in this horrible place. But the anti-self-defense perverts always come back. -Even I, who am constantly underemployed and broke and worrying about money, sent money to the Oregon Firearms Federation. What have you done for the Cause?

Years ago I said KNOW YOUR WEAPON.

Because, blogbrother SMLE Fan sends "...[G]rowing numbers of civilians around the world are in a position to push back against police and militaries that serve often-abusive governments, and that are already outmatched in terms of raw weaponry." And those of us who care are far better shots than the average government thug.

...Aaaand burn the schools I guess.

Which in a broader sense kinda segues to again with the "smart" guns.

Which in turn segues to, remember that missile alert from Hawaii? Highly trained professionals. And your tax dollars.

"The left has gone from harassing and abusing Republicans at restaurants to bomb threats in less than one week!"

Because lies, hate and violence are all they have.

Well, they also have Immigrants, Contributing to Society.

It's still not Republican NRA members brutalizing hundreds of each other every year in Chicago Baltimore DC St. Louis Cincinnati and New York.

And nobody wants to talk about that.

Speaking of things nobody wants to talk about, Clinton Campaign Official Arrested On Child Rape Charges. The only surprising part is that the arrest was actually performed. Considering the arresting officers are probably getting a percentage.

And then left-leaning SJW-spewing Netflix streams child porn. Dots. Connect them.

  • I'm getting real tired of hearing how "Law Enforcement Supports the Second Amendment".
  • I'm also getting real tired of hearing how only governments can be trusted with guns.
  • Dear ISIS, please nuke New Jersey.
  • And California too.
  • How am I supposed to tell the difference between one costumed sociopath and another? Why should a reasonable and rational person not see them all as immediate threats and act accordingly?
  • I demand jail time or a noose for any hypocritical thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife, and for any prosecutor-persecutor or unstable-freak-in-black-robes who upheld such bigotry.

Prohibition Will Always FAIL. And there's always another way.

Finished Monster Hunter Memoirs: Saints. Quite tasty, Chad Gardenier's story ends, and we learn more about the infamous MHI Christmas Party Where The World Almost Ended. Beginning The Year's Best Military & Adventure SF 2015, also from Baen naturally, which I may have read before.

Blogbrother SMLE Fan informs me Harlan Ellison has passed away. If you haven't, go hunt down Dangerous Visions, among many other works. He was a creative consultant for Babylon 5 of course, and he was, mostly, the writer of the important Star Trek episode "The City on the Edge of Forever". ...And he was evidently several kinds of a**h***. But he wrote good stories.

Michael G. sends, "Journalistic firearms expertise. And, Fudds? They really are coming for your skeet shooting guns."

Some people have called Arizona senator John McCain a Manchurian Candidate, in reference to the 1962 film about a brainwashed POW sleeper agent. Maybe there's something to that.

Speaking of RINO backstabbing, North Carolina again.

    Burn the colleges....

    Immigrants, Contributing to Society....

  • Which segues to Gun Control Success Story!
  • Michael G. sends, "Right for the wrong reasons: A Texas anarchist group says 'All cops should die', but only because they want to replace them with something worse."
  • Then, "Burn the government schools: Where it takes a circuit court of appeals to tell them that strip searching 22 pre-teen girls because one of them might have taken $50 is wrong. Note that the search was made at the suggestion of the school resource officer."
  • Not sure if Lighter: Sue the sociopaths. Thing is, they'll just write more tickets and rob more innocent people at the point of their government guns.
  • Remember, peasant, society needs police to protect us from stalkers.
  • Remember, peasant, society needs police to protect us from drunk drivers.
  • Remember, peasant, you don't need guns because mass arrests and media blackouts could never happen here.
  • Video Shows Cops Waiting In Hallway During Las Vegas Shooting. But only police should have guns and we should always wait for them to rescue us.
  • Remember, peasant, work within their system.
  • "Again and again those of us who simply want to exercise rights supposedly protected by the Constitution find the biggest perpetrators of infringements are its 'guardians.'"

Michael G. sends, "A sign of the Dutch starting to reject dhimmitude? Holland passes a burqa ban."

Trigger reset is one of many important things which a lot of "gun owners" unfortunately don't know about. It's also one of many important things taught at Project Appleseed.

Turns out I did read that (year's) Baen Mil-SF collection after all, or most of it. Reading some Star Wars novels and collections in ebook instead.
