RIFLEMAN'S JOURNAL - MAY 2015
The World Sucks
Your brain-floss-inducer o' the day: In which I find myself agreeing with Michael Moore. Though our reasons are entirely different. I believe everyone in jail for only malum prohibitum offenses should be released and all such charges expunged, no matter what color they are; and I remind you yet again, "Most of the thousands of German killers returned to jobs with the police, their pre-war occupation." An armed, full-time, government-run police force is one of the primary ingredients of genocide. Moore wants a race war and thousands, or millions, of innocent human beings murdered. I want people to be left alone, and allowed to defend themselves against anyone who won't leave them alone.
HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN TELLING YOU TO GET OUT OF THE CITIES
"Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them...."
Speaking of war, Texas Guard to Monitor Federal "Jade Helm" Military Exercise.
Speaking of the military, the emasculation of ours continues. I refer you to Lt. Col. Tom Kratman, author for Baen and columnist for Everyjoe, who in fact earned an actual Ranger tab.

MidwestReader sends another range report:
"An indoor range in my area recently procured an H&K VP9 pistol and made it available for rental. So I paid them a visit and ran some ammo through it. General impressions follow.
"It hits low and left for me, badly so in both directions, but I also had rather inconsistent results with it. It was not a good morning for me, and I was distracted by other things. I suppose I would be distracted also if I were fighting for my life. It took me until the last mag to get the hang of where the gun wants to shoot and compensate for it, and also to get the hang of the trigger. I think with more practice I might do better with it. Also experimenting with the different backstraps and side panels may be in order for me, if I ever owned one.
"The magazine holds 15 rounds--not terribly many by the standard of modern 17+1 and up service pistols in 9mm, despite being a full-size service pistol with a full-length mag tube. H&K says in responses to inquiries about the magazine capacity that they could have squeezed another round or two into the magazine with a shorter follower but they made the conscious decision to go with 15+1 capacity in order to ensure the long-term durability of the spring and long-term reliability of the magazines, which they felt might possibly be compromised if the mag spring had to be compressed further. Fifteen plus one is still lots of bullets, I suppose, and it wasn't terribly difficult to get the last round in.
"Anyway. The trigger feels Glock-ish, maybe with shorter takeup and a crisper break, but a slightly longer reset. Reset, however, is very tactile and audible as a loud CLACK! that you can both hear and feel when the gun's ready to go again. This is a very good thing.
"Recoil is sharper and muzzle rise is greater than I expected. The VP9, like the P30, has a rather high bore axis, which tends to magnify felt recoil, I suppose.
"The pivoting-lever magazine release is, for me, awkward, clumsy, and slow. I am, of course, accustomed to pushbutton mag releases. It is, again, something to which I might become acclimated with sufficient practice."
So, FluffyTux often turns his nose up at teh nomz. I use paper plates so there's less cleanup. After a day or three, I leave the plate outside for Other Kittehs (and probably raccoons). Last night I finally saw one of them, a fat short-hair tuxedo. FluffyTux has demonstrated territoriality and often has small wounds, I've heard him out there taking care of kitteh business. Kitteh drama!
Universal gun registration and the criminalization of private property passes the Oregon senate.
These admittedly-psychotic bigots are utterly convinced of the validity of their prejudice.
They deliberately ignore all voices to the contrary, really believing they know what's best
for people who aren't hurting anyone and don't need mind-altering drugs to get out of bed in the morning.
I must get out of this horrible place.
THINK ABOUT THE KIND OF PEOPLE
WHO DON'T WANT YOU
ABLE TO DEFEND YOURSELF.
"One can only imagine the attack ads that would today be marshaled against the Bill of Rights."
OBAMACARE IS ARMED ROBBERY ON AN INDUSTRIAL SCALE WE WARNED YOU AND YOU CALLED US "RACIST".
There's been news lately of the emasculation of the military - the heels walk, the Rangerettes, women attempting and failing the USMC infantry officers' course. To which dot connect the quota-hire of a physically unfit female firefighter. Who is not capable of dragging your children out of a burning building but wants your tax money anyway. 'Don't you know that "social justice" is far more important than getting the job done TAXPAYERS' LIVES?'
Net gain in West Virginia, thanks to WVCDL. Open carry passes, almost got Constitutional Carry, vetoed by the anti-self-defense governor. Hit it again next legislature. Also fire the rape-and-murder-enabling bigot who doesn't want you able to defend yourself.
ISIS on our border. WE WARNED YOU AND YOU CALLED US "RACIST".
Those very same Islamic terrorists claim responsibility for attacking a free-speech event AND OUR OWN MEDIA CALLS US "NAZIS".
By this logic the five million members of the National Rifle Association are justified in hunting down and executing editorial cartoonists and Tweeters. Which is a point Mike Vanderboegh has been raising recently.
Hey... this Jade Helm stuff... what if it's not a paranoid conspiracy theory?
Col. Kratman's latest column examines "money". I have been telling you there's nothing holding it up. The self-limited parasitism of the hyper-wealthy can't keep the disaster at bay forever.
Consider again the case of the innocent businessman whose life savings were stolen by the partisan domestic terrorist organization IRS, with no legally-supportable cause. The innocent man's bank let that happen to him. They helped it happen by actively cooperating with the robbers. Never trust a bank of any kind. Get your "money" out of the banks and get your assets out of "money".
Speaking of trust, remember, peasant, GOVERNMENT CAN BE TRUSTED TO TAKE CARE OF YOU.
EVERYTHING IS GETTING WORSE ALL THE TIME.
Broken clutch cable.
In Someone Else's Car.
Because That's How My World Works.
It happened just as I had finished my delivery route and was getting up to freeway speed.
I could feel hairs turning gray on my head
as I carefully drove back to my own end of town,
barely keeping enough momentum to safely exit the freeway
and enter a supermarket parking lot.
LoyalReader, whose car this is, responded promptly to the
Modern Miracle of Cellular Telephony and
The Almighty Internets Provided a replacement part for only thirty bucks,
though a couple hours were spent waiting for it to arrive
from the other store across town. After some grunting and cussing
repairs were completed and I didn't even lose any income,
but I really wish the universe would stop pooping on me.
Though I will note a broken clutch cable is one of the least-bad things to happen on a car,
expense-and-labor-wise. It can be fixed sitting in a parking lot, if the part can be acquired.
This is the third time it's happened to me personally, plus once to a neighbor.
Genocide is not hyperbole if they really don't see us as human beings but only as columns of numbers.
And the GOP is indistinguishable from the enemy.
OBAMACARE DESTROYS BUSINESS WE WARNED YOU AND YOU CALLED US "RACIST".

Hey, remember when NRA members rioted and murdered people over those cartoons of Charlton Heston? YEAH, ME NEITHER.

Long-duration space-travel life-support. Working on it. These problems will be solved. Just a hundred years ago it was barely conceivable for a private citizen to hop into a privately owned automobile and drive across the country. Twenty years before that it wasn't conceivable at all.
MidwestReader sends range report:
"Though I know it's rather late and the G43 will presumably replace it for most people who bought it. Today I went to the range and rented a G42 and ran a box of PMC ball through it.
"Pluses: striker-fired trigger is not unusably bad and is consistent from shot to shot, with short, audible and tactile reset. Recoil in a locked-breech .380 is almost nil--locking and unlocking the breech uses up a lot of the recoil energy that would otherwise be imparted to the shooter's hand, as indeed it is in blowback .380 designs. Big, visible sights. "Big gun" sights and "big gun" controls: slide stop and mag release are where we would expect and work as we would expect. Mag was much easier to load than I expected, all the way to the last round. Gun ran 100%. There were rumors of functional problems with some of the first batch sold when it was introduced (things like the slide locking open with rounds still in the mag if ammunition with truncated-cone shaped bullets was used, for example), but current production G42s have a redesigned extractor and slide stop, and appear to have fixed those problems.
"Minuses: sight radius is so short that even at full arm's length the white "ball" on the front sight is partially cut off on the bottom by the bottom of the rear sight notch, offering an odd and somewhat distracting sight picture. 6+1 capacity is inexplicable; if the mag tube were 1/8" longer it would hold 7+1. Can't get pinky onto gun without a pinky extension mag floorplate. This particular example had the rear sight visibly off-center in its dovetail and shot about 5" to the left at seven yards, with some vertical stringing. Gun is so tiny and so thin and there's not much to hold onto. It is not an easy gun to shoot well in a hurry, though I will say that if I ran 150-200 rounds a week through it for a month or two I think I could get accustomed to it.
"I am not a fan of the .380 cartridge. I consider it to be below the minimum level of power to be suitable to the task of self-defense against a human opponent--heaven knows we hear enough horror stories about more powerful handgun cartridges requiring multiple rounds to euthanize a rabid 15-pound raccoon humanely."
Writing... recently Larry Correia described a couple types. There's the Muse type, for whom months will go by with no output and not being able to even look at the story, then the whispers return and thekeyboardistoocursedslow. Reportedly John Ringo is that type (as am I). Then there are the Workers, the type who dedicate part of each day to deliberately sitting down and working on a story - Correia describes himself as such. Obviously both methods work. There are other types, like the inhumanly voluminous Asimov (who, I recall reading, was Really Very Happy Actually about the invention of the word processor which we all now take for granted (imagine a time when it was all typewriters and carbon paper and correction tape (and then compare that world to the crude, sluggish 3D printers we see today at the very birth of the Fabber, and imagine where that technology will be in another decade...))).
Then - this occurred to me last night - there are writers like George R. R. Martin, who just shovel stuff out the door, having characters join and turn upon each other in the literary equivalent of Professional Wrestling, never actually accomplishing anything, never finishing the story, and evidently not caring about the characters he creates. Now admittedly this is based on the television adaptation of Game of Thrones but that's how I see it. In my own work I am actually trying to go somewhere and have characters with clear objectives in their minds. I mean, I've already written the ending because there actually is one.
I'm also reminded of some successful author describing "the enormous mountain of crap you produce before you have something good", or words to that effect.
Speaking of government gunpoint, Can't Stop the Signal but they're going to try anyway no matter how many innocent human beings they have to murder.
I KEEP TELLING YOU TO THINK ABOUT THE KIND OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT YOU ABLE TO DEFEND YOURSELF.
It's been noted by others that if us "gun nuts" were as violent and bloodthirsty as we're always being slandered to be, everyone on the Other Side would be dead by now.
Speaking of slander, the envirofascists.
SPLC adds terrorist victim to hate-group list. SPLC IS A HATE GROUP.
Jade Helm. What if it's not a paranoid conspiracy theory? No, I don't believe they're going to "take over Texas" - a lot of Texans learned a lot of things about guerilla warfare in the jungles of Vietnam, and a lot of them are still alive and have already passed on their lessons. Even the Regime can't be that stupid, to just dive into such quicksand, nor have they yet sufficiently purged the armed forces that such orders would be obeyed. But what are they "training" for? "And while democrats will oppose virtually every engagement not on American soil by American troops, where is the one place they seem to support it?"
THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING IT UP
Visual Aid o' the Day BUT THEY ALWAYS WANT MORE.
Speaking of always wanting more, the physically unqualified female New York City firefighter is another reason to GET OUT OF THE CITIES. All cities are deathtraps and the city governments are deliberately working to make them even less safe.
Speaking of always wanting more, WE'VE TRIED IT THEIR WAY AND IT DOESN'T WORK BUT THEY INSIST ON PUNISHING EVERYONE WHO DIDN'T HURT ANYONE.
All those dystopian movies like Divergent and Equilibrium where humans were no longer recognized as individuals... those were just stories. RIGHT?
Watched Jupiter Ascending last night. The visuals were impressive but wasted, just a bunch of stuff splattered on the screen because someone in the CG department could. Also it felt sloppily written, lazily written, "don't bother with a story, just have more digital imagery and longer fights and the audiences will buy tickets. And don't forget to rub their noses in the anti-capitalist message 'cause they'll pay us good money for that." Hmph.
THIS IS THE DAY THE NAZIS QUIT.
While the baby-burners of FBI knew and did next to nothing.... Last night I watched the last episode of Marvel's Daredevil, in which the villain owned half the city's police force and the FBI came in to arrest the dirty cops. It's an article of faith among the masses than the next higher level is always cleaner than the crooked locals. They're not. They're all dirty, all the way down and all the way up. Some just have bigger budgets and more influence with the media, to get more of their crimes swept under more rugs. POLICE SHOULDN'T EXIST AT ALL. How would being left alone to defend ourselves be any worse?
To which dot connect the Jew-hating police state where Great Britain used to be.
OBAMACARE IS ARMED ROBBERY ON AN INDUSTRIAL SCALE and now even Rand Paul has ideological warts?
Remember those t-shirts that said "Joss Wheedon is my master now"? I never got around to buying one. How does the same mind go from "That's what governments do - get in a man's way" to endorsing the biggest abuser of government power in all of American history? Anyway, no sympathy for a statist getting eaten by his own.
REBELLION IN OCCUPIED OREGON SATURDAY 30 MAY.
Prohibition Will Always FAIL. It's just a question of how many innocent people will be murdered by their government first. Think about the kind of people who want to enforce such "laws".
Think about the kind of people who don't want you able to defend yourself. The kind of people who want you to believe it never happens.

This is what I'd rather be doing any given weekend because it really is buckets of fun, but with Oregon now Occupied I am once again attempting to relocate and can't afford to Just Go Shooting. :(
Self-Destructive Jews, Chapter MMMMCCCXLII. Srsly WTF. Every few hundred dozen years someone tries to exterminate you and you refuse to defend yourselves, actively working to prevent anyone else from defending themselves or you? People who refuse to defend themselves do not deserve to be defended by others.
When I say THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING IT UP THIS IS WHAT I MEAN.
It is time to get the hell out of Oregon before it murders me.
What if it's not a paranoid conspiracy theory?
$IGH. $o much $tuff, $o many other prioritie$....
Epic Racist Hypocrisy, Chapter MMMMCCCLXIII. GET OUT OF THE CITIES and let the savages burn.
Timely visual aid.
...Reminds me, the other day I drove past one of the state welfare offices. Saw a Cadillac SUV coming out of the parking lot, with old-and-faded duct tape holding on some of the bodywork. That image, right there, sums up so much of what is wrong with America.
Speaking of epic hypocrisy, remember, peasant, government knows what's best for you.
GENOCIDE IS NOT HYPERBOLE.
"The respectable class in the American media share the same goal as the Islamic fanatics."
I have no expectation of living to collect Social Security because THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING IT UP and I'm probably going to be killed in a bloody civil war anyway. I remind you again how Cyprus robbed their own banks and how governments around the world suddenly thought that was a good idea.
Speaking of nothing holding it up, no, seriously, don't go to college.
Regime refuses to investigate regime. For the record.
So the Usurper insists that immigrants are contributing to our society and have earned citizenship. Today I drove past a drugstore and the sign out front said "SEE PHARMACIST FOR WHOOPING COUGH SHOT". Thanks, immigrants! Your "contribution" consists of deadly diseases which civilized nations exterminated generations ago!
To which dot connect the envirofascists, pressuring building-supply stores to stop carrying pesticides that can kill insects which carry such diseases. It is as though it were on purpose.
It is time to get the hell out of Oregon before it murders me. It is not hyperbole to compare social conditions here and now to Germany in the early 1930s. They hate me and want me to die.
Once in a while, ACLU isn't evil and NRA's establishment blinders slip.
Spotting scope camera adapter. I could probably rig something a lot cheaper, but the advertised product has a lot of smart-device features which Serious Competition Shooters would find useful. But my poor-man's substitute would be the spotting scope you already have, a $30-ish digiscoping adapter off Amazon or the like, a conventional digital camera you may already have (like my Canon A580) or a cheap used one from a pawn- or electronic-junk-shop, the RCA cable it may have come with or might be found at a second-hand store, and a cheap used TV which accepts the other end of that cable, probably from the same second-hand store. I can imagine such a rig being set up at a club during a match or during sight-in days, a lot of clubs have AC power on the line now, if only for the warning lights or shelter illumination. Drawbacks would be the camera going into standby without activity, but setting it to record video - which could later be deleted - should override that. And, the batteries going dead, but some cameras have AC adapters.
Holodeck. Working on it.

Okay, you know, sometimes corporations are evil. I'm no longer interested in working for big companies, lemmetellya.
Government Makes Everything Worse Forever by breaking their own contracts and lying about "droughts" in the face of contrary evidence. -These bureaucrats, like that BLM drone, they always look and sound so smarmy, so default-superior-and-condescending, so utterly convinced they are right no matter what reality their noses get rubbed in. Someday they'll be on the gallows warning us of Severe Consequences if we don't get a certificate showing we've undergone 129 hours of noose training or aren't using UL-listed and CPSC-approved rope.
It's not paranoia to see this as a concerted effort to drive independent ranchers and farmers off their own lands, with a long-term goal of having direct government ownership and control over all sources of food. Consider the California water "crisis", and some cities' and towns' ban on backyard gardens. Seventy years ago we were supposed to be planting Victory Gardens, now they'll send government thugs with government guns to destroy your property and kidnap you?
It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.
Another advantage Linux Mint has, for a serious working computer, over the Ubuntu I've been using on a laptop for years, is it shows you, more clearly, what the bandwidth-hogging updates are for and how big they are, and allows you to deselect them individually.
Nor is it paranoia if the Usurper is saying, out loud, in so many words, "...[W]e're going to have to change how the media reports on these issues."
They really do think Orwell was writing instruction manuals.
Blood Libel o' the Day.
Related, it is time to get the hell out of Oregon before it murders me. These are exactly the same kinds of lies that were being told about Jews eighty years ago, and they're being told by exactly the same kind of people. I don't mean goose-stepping and uniforms, I mean hate.
And after America, there is nowhere else to run to.
Don't Go to College, Chapter MMMMCCCXLVI.

Setting aside Grantville Gazette VII for Williamson's A Long Time Until Now. I don't often like time-travel stories - feels like cheating. The 1632verse works because it splits off a new timeline and stays there. I dig alternate history often too, though I've had my fill of Turtledove and Stirling.
I must get out of Oregon before it murders me....
Comparing Obama to Goebbels is not slander.
An administration of psychotic hypocrites. Burn the government schools.
"If... the government can ban information that aids in constructing a firearm, where does it end?"
Michael G. sends evidence it never will: "House Democrats introduced a bill which seeks to restrict online ammunition purchases as well as track large orders." We saw that twenty years ago in the Clinton regime, when there were proposals to require an "arsenal license" for possessing more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, including two bricks of .22LR. Which, back then, was less than twenty bucks in the chain-store's coupon book. The legacy of that is the 400-round brick. The new proposal would further degrade gun shows, further restrict commerce, further empower badged prohibitionist death squads, and do absolutely nothing to fight crime or terrorism.

One thing I know about myself- I'm not a rapist. I don't get pleasure or arousal from causing pain and terror in other people.
In fairness, once in a while there's a cop who isn't an evil sadistic thieving pervert. But that's not the way to bet, he'll be driven out of his department for failing to raise revenue, and NEITHER SPEED LIMITS NOR POLICE TO ENFORCE THEM SHOULD EXIST AT ALL.

Let me remind you that Amtrak is run by the government, with no competition, enforced at government gunpoint, and has never not lost money. "To Democrats and their presstitutes, billion-dollar losses each year merit more money to lose."

That, and video-editing capability, are the Last Things I Need in Linux - and I have at least two video editors installed already. I haven't tried them yet except for a brief launch to see what they look like, which isn't too far from Cyberlink's PowerDirector, just as LibreOffice Writer and Calc aren't very alien to Micro$oft Word and Excel. Yeah, I should do something about that '98 Mauser tutorial I've been promising for half a year or so....
Col. Kratman's latest column examines Jade Helm 15. "To be fair to the Tin Foil Hat Brigade, though, whenever the New York Times and Washington Post agree that something like this is clearly harmless, it's possibly time to inventory our stocks of ammunition and break out the banana oil to make sure our protective masks are in good working order." Do read the footnotes and comments.

There have been recent stinks about Alan Gottlieb and the Second Amendment Foundation - doing the Chamberlain/Quisling with the Toomey-Manchin attempt at national firearm registration through "background checks", the buyout of JPFO, the snubbing of Michael Vanderboegh. But: SAF still gets SCOTUS action, blowing a big hole in DC's may-issue discrimination scheme and setting precedent for further challenges. Gura is not Gottlieb. RELEASE THE GURAKEN
In the news, "documents proving that the Obama administration, the U.S. State Department, and the Department of Defense had advanced notice of the impending attack [on the US Embassy in Benghazi]." And they still left them there to die while blaming our freedom of speech.
Meanwhile, George Soros paid Ferguson protesters and then stiffed them.
Palin Derangement Syndrome....
Still a bit of hypocritical discrimination in Alabama. Think about the kind of people who don't want you able to defend yourself.
Speaking of people who don't want you able to defend yourself, a year or two ago it came out that Wounded Warrior Project is explicitly anti-gun. Seems they're also the usual kind of crooked.
"...Peter Bofinger of the German Council of Economic Experts... frets that old-fashioned [cash] enable undeclared work and black markets, and stand in the way of central bank monetary policy." Think about that.
Because THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING IT UP.
Cowboy Action Shooting is an expensive hobby, not least for the costumes (or "garb" in the Society for Creative Anachronism). But if you do have that addiction, Cimarron/Pietta racing SAAs out of the box.
In harder science fiction, constant boost is a fundamental plot device - accelerate constantly toward your destination (or where it's going to be, because everything is moving relative to everything else), flip over at the midpoint and accelerate the other way, so you're going at a comfortable departure and arrival speed on each end but Pretty Darn Fast in the middle. I did some rough calculations on it many years ago - if you had the power and fuel to boost at 1g, 9.81 meters per second per second, flipping at midpoint, it would take about four hours to get from Terra to Luna, instead of Apollo's three days. That is being worked on. ...Alas, it's being worked on with NA$A funding, meaning our taxes, meaning it'll take ten times as long and cost twenty times as much as it should....
"Nobody who's got your best interest at heart would ever demand that you be helpless."
Or in other words:
I KEEP TELLING YOU THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING IT UP
AND IT WILL ALL COME CRASHING DOWN
IT IS AS THOUGH IT WERE ON PURPOSE
TIMELY VISUAL AID
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD HAVE HAD HOTEL-CASINO-RESORTS IN LUNA CITY THIRTY F***ING YEARS AGO
If you don't like Alan Gottlieb's Second Amendment Foundation, try Gun Owners of America.

REBELLION IN OCCUPIED OREGON. SEND MIKE VANDERBOEGH SOME GAS MONEY AT LEAST.
In which I admit to heresy: I wear a Kydex holster for competition. But I put my all-steel Philippine-clone 1911 in it.
Blood Libel o' the Day
DON'T GO TO COLLEGE where the entire Bill of Rights goes to die.
"What gun owners did to Smith & Wesson, car owners need to do to GM" and I WILL NEVER BUY A NEW CAR
"What takes place between consenting adults is one thing, but when did it ever become necessary to force other people to condone that behavior?"
"...[A]nd require that transfers be reported to the attorney general." It's not paranoia if they really are putting your name on a list.
It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you. Remember, peasant, WORK WITHIN THE SYSTEM.
CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY ACTION IN MAINE. SEND A F***ING EMAIL.
Speaking of sending a f***ing email, THE SECOND AMENDMENT INCLUDES KNIVES. I want jail time for any thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife.
An increment in Florida. Not much of one, but still.
Likewise, an attempted increment in Alabama.
Smuggling-and-insurrection roadtrip. At least send him some gas money.
The place where Britain used to be, and trying to do the same thing here. Freedom of religion cannot extend to a religion which hates freedom.
Los Angeles commits economic suicide. Remember the other day's visual aid.
Next time it takes you a quarter of a cursed hour to find a parking spot, next time you lose your job to a quota-hire, thank the wheelchair mafia and their enthusiastic old-media lapdogs.
Speaking of people lying to you, remember that obviously-fake "gun store" in New York City which we all knew was fake? It was, in fact, fake.
Speaking of people lying to you, "Malthusians have been doggedly wrong about everything forever...."
Speaking of wrong about everything, all you man-hating feminazis, I got yer "war on women" RIGHT HERE. And yet these same "feminists" want to boycott-divest-and-sanction Israel? And they call me "nuts"?
Not unrelated, in my fictional utopia, rape is a capital crime and the usual method of execution (for beings with the necks for it) is by hanging - by hoist, not by drop. This is why.
This is a capital crime and its perpetrators deserve death. And their "Brothers in Blue" knew for decades and did nothing.
You monsters all look the same to me.
CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY ACTION IN OHIO NEXT WEEK. SEND. A. F***ING. EMAIL. "This legislation also specifies that an otherwise law-abiding person carrying a firearm may not be searched or detained, and their firearm may not be seized, regardless of the time period." Does that mean we can finally start shooting the thieves-and-kidnappers-with-badges in righteous self-defense? Nothing less is likely to stop these violent sociopaths....
Rebellion in Occupied Washington, 20-21 June. I can't afford to go and you know the place will be crawling with "undercover" thieves-and-kidnappers-with-badges, but I do wish the organizers success anyway.
More enemy action in Occupied Oregon, on Memorial Day no less. I'm reminded of Kipling.
Don't Go to College....
Visual Aid o' the Day. WE WARNED YOU AND YOU CALLED US "RACIST".
Blatant restraint-of-trade in Occupied Illinois. And the cops and courts are on whose side? ...While probably still expecting a law enforcement discount from the same business...?
Something you don't see every day: A Republican who actually does something for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
BlogBrother SMLE Fan rants on SFWAgate. I'll read what I f***ing want to read. Which at present is Michael Z. Williamson's A Long Time Until Now. I will also write what I f***ing want to write and you can't f***ing stop me.
A Nation Greater than We Deserve.
Modest Proposal o' the Day. Which has been proposed before.
It's not paranoia if they really are making a list of Certain People. YOU CAN'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU.
How is it we almost never hear of Our Kind turning to the Other Side, but the reverse happens all the time?
Blogbrother SMLE Fan sends the Ubernom o' the Day.
AND "RACIST" TOO.
Col. Kratman's latest column continues examining Jade Helm.
Government Makes Everything Worse Forever
An epidemic of false claims in science. "In climate science there's pressure from politicians to get the right results. The more right results you get, the more grants you get." And those grants are your tax dollars at work.
BURN THE COLLEGES TOO
Gosh it's a good thing it's so difficult for ordinary working-class taxpaying "law"-abiding citizens to own guns in Chicago or Baltimore or Connecticut. Think about the kind of people who don't want you able to defend yourself.
Gosh it's a good thing we don't have a loose-cannon president getting us into lots of foreign wars without Congressional approval.
Meaningful progress in Texas. Next legislature, or the one after, try real Constitutional Carry.
Smuggling and Insurrection Roadtrip. What have you done for the Cause?
Speaking of the Cause, ARMED REBELLION IN OCCUPIED WASHINGTON 20-21 JUNE.
Okeh, so, Babylon 5 was more-or-less an O'Neill Cylinder, but had a stationary freefall section for ships to dock with/in. Aurora is a much-smaller starship with extendable rotating rings for weight during long periods in orbit or hyperspace. Someone with engineering training might contemplate the nuts-and-bolts of keeping something that big spinning for that long. Well lemme tell ya, when a science-fiction author tries to imagine future technologies, he usually shoots low. Not even the Prophet Heinlein imagined the Almighty Internets upon which you are now reading this.
"Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated...."
Playing dirty in Texas. I still demand jail time for any thief-with-a-badge who ever "confiscated" an "illegal" knife.
Visual Aid o' the Election Cycle.
And the GOP is still indistinguishable from the enemy.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan observes New York still sucks. Couldn't pay me to live there and I wouldn't take your money to nuke it.
REBELLION IN OCCUPIED OREGON
AND OCCUPIED WASHINGTON TOO
AND OCCUPIED WASHINGTON TOO
Speaking of rebellion, OMG EEE-VILL GHOST GUN. JPFO had something similar years ago, bolted together out of flat pieces that were simpler to machine individually, that's around the 'nets somewhere.
Okeh, so, I feed FluffyTux kibble-and-gooshyfud on paper plates, rather than scrubbing a proper bowl. When the plate gets icky I set it outside for Other Kittehs, and/or raccoons which I've seen here many a time. When a stack accumulates I toss them. Last night I heard something just outside the hovel door and... it was neither kitteh nor raccoon:
Meanwhile here's a proper kitteh pic from a few days earlier:
For many moons I have been begging, at the bottom of this 'blog, for someone to sell me this Windham Weaponry AR15 gas block:
At long last, something pretty close is directly available. It falls short in two particulars, being clamped instead of pinned and lacking a sling swivel (which I can add with a Magpul adapter to the Magpul handguard, and I have a single-point-capable carbine end plate already), but if I get ahead some I might buy it. Alas, I've pretty much stopped shooting this year, trying to save enough money to escape Occupied Oregon for somewhere the Bill of Rights is still in effect. But now I know it exists.
Note, this is for Precious, the racing/fighting carbine, to mount backup sights at 45 degrees and an optic on the receiver rail. Rapunzel, the long-range long-rifle, is a different concept. Her construction is of course stalled due to funds and priorities but all I really need for her at this point is a good trigger, a very particular barrel and very particular free-float tube, both of which I'm still shopping for, and of course the optic and mount. The optic for Rapunzel has been selected but of course that's not happening yet either.
Speaking of our taxes, BURN THE RACIST GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS
BUT THEY CALL US "RACIST".
GENOCIDE IS NOT HYPERBOLE
Government Makes Everything Worse Forever.
In the news, Rick Santorum announces his candidacy for President. That's a big fat NO.
And the rest of the GOP is also indistinguishable from the enemy.
Blogbrother SMLE Fan decries our lack of unity.
SCIENCE-FICTION AGE REVERSAL. WORKING ON IT.
Action in Iowa. Get in there.
"Jews shall be fined $10,000 for not wearing a Yellow Star on their clothing"OH. WAIT.
Think about the kind of people who want to control your movement and your speech.
Remember, peasant, YOU'RE NOT PAYING YOUR FAIR SHARE!
"A slave may not carry, with intent to go armed, a knife, club or gun, without first getting a permission slip from his master." And who are the overseers?
Constitutional Carry continues advancing in Maine.
Guerilla action in Florida.
"Where the hell do you get off endorsing a handgun ban for a segment of our population that is old enough to vote, to marry, to parent and to go to war and die protecting your sorry politically opportunistic ass?"
Anyone who doesn't think minimum wage destroys jobs is provably psychotic.
Next time you see a car with an "I [heart] Obamacare" sticker, understand the owner is evil and means you harm.
And yet NRA still has a whole division dedicated to training them....
Prohibition Will FAIL because FABBERS will CHANGE the WORLD
It's not paranoia if they really are "disappearing" articles critical of the Regime.
To which dot connect, "...[H]ere are the Texas State House Republicans that voted to muzzle the First Amendment in Texas."
Which is a thing I've tried to address.
And as if on cue, New Jersey judge orders newspaper to take down article. Michael G. comments, "Besides unstable freaks in black robes, this also includes war on men. The article in question was about a man trying to regain custody of his daughter from child services after his abuse charges were dismissed because they were based on false testimony. It was the [TAX-FUNDED GOVERNMENT] child-services-appointed guardian of the daughter who applied to the judge to order the article taken down."
To which dot also connect, "...[D]eference to police agencies and prosecutors is so habitual among the members of the law-and-order party that they instinctively look for excuses when presented with obvious examples of police misconduct, and twiddle their thumbs in the 99 percent of cases of prosecutorial misconduct that do not involve a Republican elected official."
The Stupid Party and the Evil Party ARE THE SAME PARTY
Speaking of the First Amendment, lemme get this straight: Stoning rape victims to death or cutting Christians' heads off on internet video is "free speech" and "exercise of religion", but drawing a cartoon is "terrorism". Got it.
To which dot connect:
REBELLION IN OCCUPIED OREGON
Not wholly Lighter because this sort of thing used to be Evening-News-worthy, as can be seen in documentation of the period.
