The World Sucks

Shambling Wrecktm blew her headgasket.
Because that's how my world works.
Fortunately I already carried spare coolant water on principle and nursed her back to the hovel where I can work on her. Trying the Bar's Leaks again....

Project Gunwalker. See also.

To which dots connect: It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.

'"This puts the government in the exam room." In case you haven't noticed, doc, they're already there.'

Dr. Pournelle has the BURN THE SCHOOLS o' the Day: "...[S]mall children are ‘learning machines’ and are capable of what appears to be astounding feats of learning, by OUR ‘educational standards’, if simply given the chance and encouraged. Which our education system is seemingly designed to prevent at all costs."

Again and again and again with the self-destructive Jews.

Meanwhile in Gaza, "Hamas Violates 72-Hour Ceasefire After Just 90 Minutes". I know who the bad guys are and it ain't the Jews. "Hamas used one of the tunnels that it built with child labor to perpetrate this attack.... Some of the tunnels reportedly have entrances inside UN facilities, so American taxpayers paid indirectly for Hamas to build these tunnels...." In my fictional utopia Jewish separatists provided material aid to the fleeing Founders of my republitarian Republic and were paid with a planet of their own. There's their motivation.

The envirofascists won't be happy until everyone but them is starving to death. In the dark.

THEY ARE ALL SO F***ING IGNORANT Hofmann observes: "If the military stumbles upon new technology to make firearms more effective, we the people are owed access to that technology, and we must take it, by whatever means necessary." And if I may indulge in a little Fisking, the M1911 is 103 years old and counting and the Marines are still buying new ones; the Beretta M9/92 is mechanically identical to the Walther P.38 of, you know, 1938; and the double-column magazine was first put in a pistol sometime before 1935, in what became the Browning Hi-Power or GP35. All of this technology is at least 70 years old, most of it well over a century.

Working on Shambling Wrecktm. The Bar's Leaks may be having its desired effect again, she sounds healthier already and the vapor from the exhaust is mostly gone, but there's froth on the oil dipstick and I should probably change the oil again. Which I did just last week. ...Yeah that's a damn milkshake, filter too. The local Big Hardware Store has it all, even a replacement bottle of Bar's Leaks for next time. $igh....

Just the other day I linked an article on one of many possible solutions to the breathable air problem for long spaceflights or colonization. Water is also a problem (though not as much of one as some may think). That also is being worked on - and may likely have the added benefit of reducing famine and various factors leading to war.

'[Chief of Detectives Bill] McSweeney said the deputy who fired at Mendoza was an 11-year veteran with "a very fine record." He declined to release the deputy's name.' AND IF ONE OF US HAD KILLED ONE OF THEM?

Any Jew who supports Obama can be presumed insane. Any Jew who isn't armed as heavily as they can afford can be presumed suicidal.

There is a reason the United Nations or its notional descendants appear as the antagonist in so much republitarian fiction. An author may think, "Naw, that's too crazy" - and then real life raises the bar....

Among very much else worth your time from Dr. Pournelle, the Astute Observation o' the Day: "The Framers wanted nothing to do with Democracy. They were interested in freedom and rule of law, which are usually threatened by Democracy."

Related: "Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

Gaming the system in DC, to give brutal thugs, with badges and without like there's a difference anymore, more time to violate and murder innocent human beings. '...[C]ontention that the District, as “the seat of the federal government” should somehow get a pass on adherence to the Constitution!'

"...[I]llegal immigrants from more than 75 nations are entering or attempting to cross the U.S. border, including some from unfriendly nations and some immigrants who may be carrying the Ebola virus." But that's raaaaacist?

The Other Side really believes in eee-vill gun rays casting dominion over the sooooouls of men. And they really will send government thugs with government guns to rob, kidnap, and murder us. All we want is to be left alone.

The United States Military is now in the same position as those imperial armies a hundred years ago, accustomed to fighting little-better-than-barefoot savages who can barely keep a pickup truck running. What happens if we have to go to war with China or Russia? Opponents who can call in air and artillery of their own? It won't be the grunts' fault....

Which meshes neatly with Col. Kratman's latest column. Note particularly his Tale of Two Captains. One does ponder the chlorinating effect duelling has, or should have, upon gene pools.... Of course such phenomena are by no means limited to the military or even to government, I've encountered the same types in the private-sector workforce far too often.

Which segues to the Astute Observation o' the Day.

Unelected tyrant Michelle Obama destroys effort to raise funds for WWII veterans. And the EBT-swiping Obama-voters call me "racist". "I do know that people who can’t control themselves tend to try to control others."

Which is a good place to start today's collection of dots to connect:

  • "I wonder how this jerk ruled on cases with other violent monsters like himself."
  • Dirty. All of them.
  • Violent sociopaths. All of them.
  • Michael G. sends, "Assistant Prosecutor Aritha Siringas picked up Wafer’s shotgun and pointed it directly at the jury, finger on the trigger." And if any of us had done that to any of them we'd be SHOT DEAD.
  • "We now know how the law will be enforced in this country. It will be enforced racially."

To which dot connect: Open and deliberate contempt for the troops. And you think they'll obey your orders?

And you think the next civil war will be MY fault?

...to save the lives of millions.
Paul Tibbets and crew saved as many as twenty million - by Japanese estimate; more than a quarter of their population at the time - Japanese lives that day, to say nothing of hundreds of thousands of Americans.
    And I'm okay with that.

Codrea takes a closer look at the sheriff, not qualified to carry a firearm, telling all of us we're not qualified to carry firearms. -That reminds me of a story I heard about Charles Moose, who, before moving to Maryland, for a time was the probably-Affirmative-Action police chief of Portland, Oregon. As I heard it, he had a negligent discharge in someone's home, earning the nickname "Curtain Rod". “Greg Weston, who was range master for the Sheriff’s Office during Manfre’s first term, told the News-Journal that Manfre was careless and dangerous with a firearm,” the report explains. “He said that Manfre ordered him to go to the local gun club on at least two occasions and oversee his qualification. Weston said he signed off on Manfre’s qualification under duress because he was his boss.” "...Manfre’s hardly the first anti-gun CLEO who took on the top job without proving capable of even performing rookie basics." But they say we're not qualified? I tell ya, I wouldn't want to stand within a hundred meters of this Manfre bigot, taxtheft-funded sidearm or no. These creatures are clear and present dangers to public safety and the institutions they belong to SHOULD NOT EXIST.

Veterans Administration lies about patient deaths and lots of other stuff WELL DUH. They wanted their $300 million taxtheft-funded bonuses.

Speaking of veterans, just yesterday I linked another example of open and deliberate contempt for the troops. And you think they'll obey your orders?

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence."

"Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

Just the other day GOA was claiming victory over Operation Choke Point, official discrimination against consumer products specifically protected by the Constitution. Victory incomplete.

You think they'll obey your orders?

But some will, because police and military are not the same:

  • “Prosecutors are rewarded for winning at all costs, they have no incentive to seek the truth rather than a conviction, and they are entirely unaccountable when they pervert justice in pursuit of victory.”
  • Related, blood libel.
  • 911 operator tells victim of home invasion in progress to "PUT THE GUN DOWN" in a sane world that tax-eating bigot would be on trial for accessory to attempted murder.
  • And in a sane world this one would already be in jail for the real thing.
  • "But remember kids, only trained, properly screened law enforcement officials can be trusted with firearms."
  • Connect that dot to this: Of course they don't want us able to defend ourselves FROM THEM.
  • The "laws"

  • and the enforcers
  • are EVIL.

Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends "...[J]ust 13 percent of Americans approve of the way Congress... is handling its job", commenting: 'Nobody likes how the Federal Government is handling anything, 1/3 think that neither party is worth anything, yet the same morons will continue to be elected while the herd sits back and chews its cud. That's 'cause they will keep handing out EBT cards and medicare and immigration amnesties and all the other government cheese, and the sheep will vote for whoever is at the top of the ballot because they can't be bothered to think. To paraphrase the infamous Barbie doll, "Thinking is hard!" Just yesterday I was in the supermarket and the guy in front of me paid for some of his groceries with a WIC check, then pulled out a roll of cash as thick as my wrist and peeled off a fifty to pay for the rest. When someone has WIC and EBT and at the same time has probably $1500 in cash in his pocket, something is Very Wrong here. I haven't had more than $50 in cash in my wallet at any time in the last two years that I can recall. When genocide-enabling monsters like Lake Oswego pediatrician Perry Grossman express their desire to render us all defenseless, it is really difficult to not wish they find themselves gang-raped to death behind a supermarket, with their last thought being "I wish I had a gun." Because that is exactly the fate they wish upon all of us.

Hey, remember when George W. Bush was a warmonger and Barack Hussein Obama would end the wars and bring about world peace?

This would be nice (the color is important) but is nearly twice as much as I contemplate being able to spend. Here is what I'm figuring on, and I know a guy who can cerakote it the color I want for thirty bucks. Here are the leading contenders for barrels. Low-profile gas block, roll pin, gas tube, and muzzle device are fiddly-bits I can get anywhere. The very particular gas block referenced below is not for Rapunzel the rifle but for Precious, the racing/fighting carbine. Two uppers with different roles. Rapunzel will also need a Rather Expensive trigger. And backup sights. And a big-ass scope, $IGH. I want optics for Precious, too... which are, again, for different roles. I'm still leaning toward the universality-through-training of Mil-Dot reticles, rather than the potential limitations of Ballistic Drop Compensators formulated for specific cartridge/barrel-length/rifling-twist combinations. I also notice the Miculek family has little bitty red-dots on 45-degree rails. I looked up the ones they use and they're six hundred dollars!?! Something that looks similar can be found as low as $30 and I already have expensive on-bore rails gifted by my sister, which I haven't used yet because I have no optics for Precious which would make 45-degree backup sights make sense.

The job wants me to get an Android-powered smartphone (of eee-vill), on which to load their specific "app". I'm seeing them as low as $30 at WalMart and even less elsewhere on the Almighty Internets. I want prepaid, no contracts. Not even personal information to activate, if that's possible, but it has to be Android and has to accept third-party "apps". Suggestions?

Virginia Citizens Defense League issues a Public Service Announcement:

The ongoing riots in Ferguson, Missouri should serve as an important reminder to anyone who is thinking about owning a gun. When your safety is already at risk, it may be too late to buy that first gun.
    Why do I say that?

    1. You’ll be lucky to find a gun at a gun store when EVERYBODY is trying to buy one. And IF you do find a gun, it may not be the best gun or the most suitable gun and it’s going to cost you a lot more money than it would have before the emergency.
    2. You may not be able to find ammunition for your new gun. And IF you do find ammunition, it may not be the most suitable ammunition for self-defense, you may not find it in the quantity you want, and it is going to cost you a lot more money.
    3. You may not be able to purchase important accessories for your new gun. Things like spare magazines, holsters, slings, and optics. Not having enough magazines or not having a holster could put you in a real bind. You may not have time to research which accessories you need or be able to install them quickly if you can even find them.
    4. By not having bought the gun ahead of time and now being in the middle of an emergency, you won’t have the time to take the gun to a range to do important things like:
    a) making sure the gun actually works and is not a one-shot or even a zero-shot wonder
    b) making sure that the ammunition you purchased works in the gun
    c) practicing with the gun to become proficient in its use and to know how to do critical things, like reloading the gun quickly while under pressure
    d) becoming comfortable and familiar with various controls such as thumb safeties, grip safeties, or de-cockers
    e) adjusting the sights on the gun to make sure the bullet is going to go reasonable close to where the gun is aimed
    f) installing and testing any accessories, like bipods, tactical lights, laser sights, or custom grips

The time to become a gun owner is NOW when you are NOT in the middle of a riot or some other emergency.
The time to do it is when you have time. When you can purchase the gun you want. When you can purchase and store a quantity of the ammunition you want. When you can verify the gun functions properly and is sighted in properly. When you can study which accessories you want and have time to get those accessories. When you can practice and train with both the gun and the accessories so that you have confidence in your ability to protect yourself and your family.
All of that can be done in a reasonable amount of time if you put enough effort into it, but it can’t be done instantaneously in the middle of an emergency.
If you’re going to become a gun owner, and you don’t live in Ferguson, MO, there is no time better than RIGHT NOW.

Maybe it was a documentary. And maybe Ringo's Black Tide Rising series will be history texts for the 22nd Century.

    Speaking of:

  • On the one hand, "At one point, [Malik Zulu] Shabazz, [head of the New Black Panther Party,] took control of the meeting, offering advice on how law enforcement should not guard businesses targeted for looting."
  • And on the other, "Sonny Dayan, owner of St. Louis Cordless Communications, tells National Review Online police prevented him from returning to his business while it was being looted and the police did nothing to stop the crime."
(Like the Spanish Civil War or the Nazi/Soviet partitioning of Poland, communists vs. fascists and decent human beings getting screwed by both sides. Can't they both lose?)
  • I've heard of this before but let's remember it can happen here. Because they don't see us as human beings.

In other words, submit and obey, peasant!
And how fast they forget. Remember, one law for your, and another for your betters, worm! From February of this year: Mayor Bill de Blasio's motorcade caught speeding.
And who could forget last year's attempt to make it illegal to "annoy" cops in NY, which fortunately died in the state assembly, but is still alive in some NY Senate committee as of January this year.
I've never had a positive experience with NYPD in 30 years of living in the NY area, even asking for directions, and I stopped asking cops for directions when I was still a teenager. I've had the "pleasure" of being detained by the NYPD on several occasions, and I've been through the "due process" that I'm supposed to have faith in. I can tell you that it is set up to be as adversarial, inconvenient, difficult, expensive, and obnoxious as possible. I actually had a sergeant tell me that since a traffic agent was incompetent (she wrote too many bogus parking tickets), they transferred her to Patrol instead.
I've also been in Penn Station in NYC and had a NYPD cop in body armor sweep me and a huge crowd of commuters with his MP5 (loaded, and safety off) with his finger on the trigger. I scrammed in a hurry, he was one stumble away from a bloodbath, so I didn't see if it was full auto or not, but it sure as hell wasn't on safe!
We're supposed to trust these people and the "justice system" to get things right? I've got too much personal experience with this crap, both myself and my family, to blindly submit and obey. I don't want a fight with the cops, and I'm not going to start one, but if they start it, I'm not going quietly into the night.

CMP Garands at Clark Rifles. Nice day:

Even cooler when we started - that photo was taken at the end of the match, during teardown. One problem is, sunrise is right in your face, and your spotting scope, on this range. The match director said he'd try to schedule next year's matches in the afternoon.

Long course B, 5 sighters and 50 for score. Sometimes this club uses "convertible sighters", firing the sighting shots and slow-prone together and throwing out the five worst. I always vote the other way, actually checking and pasting sighters before shooting for score, and we did that today - one shooter had no spotting scope and, due to the aforementioned sunrise, few people could see a cursed thing if they did have one. Also there were only six shooters, one of whom was Mr. R. with an AR spacegun who had some embarrassingly-high score with like nineteen Xs but that didn't count for the official match. My sighters, five in 5 minutes - first shot was high and left, second high and more centered, gave the Queen a couple clicks down and still let one get away:

But those don't count for score. Next, slow-prone, twenty rounds in 20 minutes:

That's 181/1X of a possible 200. Obviously I would be doing better if I could afford to practice, and had a decent spotting scope so I could see what the eff is happening downrange. Today I was using a cheap 60x I found on sumdood's table at a show for $20 several weeks ago. Better than the disappointing 90x Konus or the good but underpowered 32x Halleyscope, but the morning glare really sucks, man. Then, after a couple clicks windage, rapid-prone, ten rounds in 70 seconds (80 if there is a bolt-action on the line, which there wasn't):

80/0X and it sure ain't the rifle's fault, nor my handloads. Need another Appleseed, $igh. Next, rapid-sitting, same rounds and time:

64/0X and I blew that completely because I do not have a good Sitting position, I only have occasion to use it two or three times a year, at this match, at this club. At least I got them all on the paper. Finally, slow-standing, ten rounds in 10 minutes:

75/0X. The four low ones, I called as they happened. Not the rifle's fault. One year I went to the range with a single-shot .22 and just fired a couple hundred rounds from Standing. (Remember when a couple hundred rounds of .22LR was no big deal...?) I had a really good Standing stage in the match the next weekend. But that was a long time ago. Final score 400/1X of possible 500:

Can't afford fuel and ammunition to practice. But I'm still a much better shot than most government forces and I know what I did wrong.

    Thank You, Tucson Tom.

After a power interruption at the hovel the other day, Skype has stopped working. There are a couple other indications that I may have to re-OS, and that will be a pain. I'm presently using XPPro64, which I have discs for, but it requires half a gigabyte or more of updates and patches and I do not have the bandwidth for that here. I'm disinclined to spend money for later versions of BillGatesSuckage and am contemplating the full jump to Linux (probably Ubuntu since I've been using it on my laptop for years now), but there are a couple high-end games I worry about not being able to play. Sigh....

Competition Shooting Tip o' the Day: "Too Many Reloads" DOES NOT HAPPEN. In the AR stages of the small, local 3-Gun matches I attend, I typically carry two genuine Magpul PMAG30s. I could carry a third, if the rifle is staged loaded. I have a pair of Charles Daly STANAG-type 40s but haven't tried them yet, as the small local club doesn't have stages long enough to make them necessary. Of course Magpul is offering a PMAG40 now and if I did more and larger 3-Gun matches I'd get a couple. Likewise, for my 1911, I have three McCormick 10s and a Tripp 10, and three McCormick 8s, and I try to carry them all, while LoyalReader has acquired more speedloaders.

After approximately two and a half moons, SMLE Fan's blog is back! -But Skype, which I use for transcontinental comisserating with him, is still not working on my system since the power outage last week corrupted some BillGatesSuckage or other. >:-[

Codrea examines a Virginia Senate race. Both sides appear to have warts, as do the Lairds of Fairfax, and the Stupid Party.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press"OH. WAIT.

"...[O]r the right of the people peaceably to assemble"OH. WAIT.

Michael G. sends "WAR ON WOMEN" and freezing to death in the dark. Also see.

Not to forget the living in caves part.

"Compromises got us where we are. They got us thousands upon thousands of gun control laws that did nothing to stop violence in this country, but made it more and more difficult to exercise our fundamental rights. It's time to stop compromising and start fighting."

And, still more (never trust a cop of any kind) (oh wow, I just realized Desert Hermit Joel quoted me probably before I started reading him) on the SAF takeover of JPFO, including this frightening data point.

Col. Kratman's latest two columns, on Israel. In my fictional utopia, Israeli separatists gave material aid to my fictional Founders in exchange for an entire planet of their own. If the technology to reach and colonize other worlds existed I guarantee you that would actually be happening, Holy Land or no.

Open and deliberate contempt for the troops and you think they'll obey your orders to round up their own families?

  • But they don't trust us. I've fired a Kahr K9. I've wanted one for years and still do (if I can ever find an early one, not made of plastic) (but then I couldn't afford it). And these staggeringly incompetent clear-and-present-dangers to public safety presume to judge us?
  • Many years ago I drew a certain cartoon. Now, life imitates art. "PROTECT AND SERVE" WHO?
  • And the Ministry of Truth marches in lockstep.
  • Remember how the Nazis and communists like there's a functional difference encouraged people to denounce their neighbors? That could never happen here... right?
  • "...[T]hey shot an unarmed, suicidal kid sixteen times, while in absolutely no jeopardy themselves." Because they're HEROES of the COMMUNITY?
  • 'Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, though, seems comfortable with police being armed with what we are so often told are "weapons of war," that belong on the battlefield, and "not on our streets."' They don't want us able to defend ourselves from them. 'So if he doesn't mind cops having "assault weapons," but does not want to allow such firearms "in our neighborhoods," does he propose to ban police from our neighborhoods?' I WOULD EXPECT THAT TO BE A NET BENEFIT TO PUBLIC SAFETY.

Codrea, our Culture's leading investigative journalist, continues examining the SAF takeover of JPFO. Today's data point is in Gottlieb's favor, but seriously how does anyone in the Gun Culture not know who SAF and JPFO are?

Speaking of Gottlieb, he challenges Bill Gates to a debate. Gates, linked yesterday, is spending a million dollars to destroy private property rights and undermine self-defense in Washington state. (And Linux is looking better all the time.)

Meanwhile, bigotry, lies and oathbreaking in Occupied Connecticut. "...[T]he only reason Malloy and his KGB toady Mike Lawlor have held off on the gun raids that Lawlor has been itching to do since January is Malloy's fear that a body count of innocent citizens and their families might spoil his re-election chances." But Bracken's Enemies Foreign and Domestic is just a story... right?

Self-destructive Jews Christians o' the Day.

"...[E]vidence of deliberate manipulation of the ["Unaccompanied" Alien "Children"] numbers conducted by the Obama administration."

    But Orwell's 1984 was just a story...

Again I say, the envirofascists won't be happy until everyone but them is living in caves, wearing grass skirts, and freezing to death in the dark - and they'll do anything to make it happen.

'Unless, of course, the IRS erased its memory after the congressional investigation started heating up, conveniently "forgot" to check for or backup any of the emails, and then sold the device for scrap' AND HOW IS THAT GEORGE W. BUSH'S FAULT? OR MINE?

No, seriously, how is that George W. Bush's fault?

  • "...[A] pattern of missing M14 and M16 assault rifles across the country, as well as instances of missing .45-caliber pistols, shotguns and 2 cases of missing Humvee vehicles."
  • "...[A]cting cybersecurity chief of a federal agency, Timothy DeFoggi... convicted today in Maryland on three child porn charges...."
  • But they don't trust us?
  • "A Florida man was charged with murder... in connection with a woman's death... even though a police officer fired the bullet that killed her...."
  • It can never happen here... right?

Progress - mixed - in Canada. I am again reminded that the United States of America is the only nation in the history of the world that has even pretended to be free.

Hofmann examines Chicago: "...[F]undamental human rights... cannot legitimately be held hostage to a requirement for a favorable statistical outcome."

Constitutional Carry in New Hampshire? Why not? Or is "Live Free or Die" just some stuff on a license plate?

SMLE Fan is making up for lost blogging, go read. For example: "Immunity for judges and police are 20th Century inventions from the bench. Such nonsense does not exist in the Constitution and needs to be Killed With Fire. The notion, much less the practice, of rendering employees immune from accountability from their employers is repugnant."

Codrea observes, "Perhaps the name of the organization ought to be changed to Moms Demand Tricking Police into Performing Executions of Gun Owners."

    Action increasing in Washington state.

SMLE Fan has your Government Makes Everything Worse Forever o' the Day.

Speaking of, it's not paranoia if "The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the Department of Transportation" really is proposing a mandate that cars broadcast speed, direction and location.

Opposing illegal immigration is raaaaaaacist... right?

  • A legal system, not a justice system.
  • Remember, peasant, law enforcement supports the Second Amendment!
  • "...[T]he fact that he wrote these books was enough for the Maryland police to swoop in, scoop him up, *disappear* him, sign him up for a psych evaluation and ransack his home looking for guns & bombs (of which they apparently found none)." But we're paranoid extremists? -Was Tom Clancy ever roughed up for his work?
  • 'I wonder how the "good citizen" in comments who thinks this was proper will feel when it's his turn in the barrel.'
  • 'The problem was not with black cops, [John] Lott’s study showed, but rather with the lowering of standards across the board, resulting in less-qualified officers of every race. To get more of MSNBC’s “voices of oppression” on police forces, requirements are reduced for all recruits.'

    The World Sucks

Last time that happened was in a car with an "interference" engine, which caused fiddly-bits to be damaged beyond economical repair.
This little car, you actually can replace a timing belt with hand tools on the side of the road.
Or, in the parking lot of a tanning salon fortunately within walking distance of the parts store.
Unfortunately, the first try was for the wrong timing belt, despite the store's website and in-store computer spitting out part number xxx.
Had to call Blacksmith - who had to finish putting the alternator back in his car - to poke and puzzle over it for a hour or twain, before realizing the belt's teeth were shaped wrong for the actual sprockets Shambling Wrecktm has.
Fortunately the remains of the original belt were captured by the belt cover for belated comparison, and the store exchanged part number xxx for yyy and I eventually drove out of there.
Without any paying delivery work for the day.
You see this? This is how my world works.
    Can't. Get. Ahead.
    Can't even keep up.

Every automobile dealer in America just became vulnerable to litigation and jail for other people's drunk driving.

"The U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 9 to discuss federal programs that have equipped state and local law enforcement agencies with military-type equipment...." Why does that sound like appointing Eichmann and Heydrich to investigate allegations of mistreatment of prisoners in the arbeitslager? 'Earlier this year, KING 5 News, in a story about how [former King County Sheriff Sue] Rahr [now the director of the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission] has made some eye-opening changes at the police academy, revealed that “Rahr removed a trophy case containing badges, batons and other 'tools of the trade' from the lobby. In its place, she put up a mural of the U.S. Constitution.”' And she hasn't been assassinated yet? Or maybe it's just a twisted joke for her "Brothers in Blue" to snicker at every time they walk by. Never trust a cop of any kind.

Not unrelated, this is why, in my fictional utopia, duelling is in the Constitution. Complete with fictional-utopian legal precedent.

Also not unrelated, "White girls being raped in job lots by muslims, no problem; better to ignore it than rock the f***ing multicultural boat, eh?"

Okay, sometimes the eee-vill rich really are evil.

Michael G. sends: "The US Fish and Wildlife Service is declaring land in Louisiana critical habitat for the Dusky Gopher Frog. Except the frog hasn't been seen there in over 50 years, and the land doesn't contain the physical or biological features critical for the dusky gopher frog."

Also the BURN THE SCHOOLS o' the Day: '...[T]he district’s (“underpaid”) $320,000-a-year superintendent, who has a $4 billion budget at his disposal... 54 percent of Miami-Dade’s tenth-graders get Florida’s lowest rating for math.... Yesterday, the teachers’ unions and the Florida School Board Association filed a lawsuit to... strip 70,000 low-income families of the ability to choose their children’s schools....'

    Likewise DON'T GO TO COLLEGE

This is why I make my Basic Firearms Tutorials. And I really should get back to work on those.

CDNN's latest email alert wants $49.99 for a 500-round brick of Remington Thunderbolt.
    That's not a joke.
I didn't even panic-buy that stuff at $20. That, plus some Quislingism, prompts me to unsubscribe from their list, delete their big juicy .PDF catalog, and never order from them again.

  • A legal system, not a justice system.
  • "Los Angeles County alone has been the destination for 3,229 M16-A1 rifles and another 87 M14 rifles, while Leon County in Florida, which is home to Tallahassee, received 1,900 M16-A1 rifles and 111 M14 rifles." And it takes me HALF A F***ING YEAR to build ONE LITTLE AR A PIECE AT A TIME.
  • "...[T]he only threat to anyone in this situation was the officer."
  • "...[A] citizen has a legally recognized right to use lethal force to prevent the consummation of an unlawful arrest."
  • "Deputy who killed former Napster COO after drifting into the bike lane while distracted by his laptop will NOT face charges because he was answering a work-related email...." But they rob us at gunpoint for talking on the phone with our eyes on the road. And notice how we have to get the story from foreign media.
  • "If [OFFICERS] Cowley and Salmon had been members of a private sector narcotics gang, both of them would face capital murder charges."

"What will happen when the full realization that the most powerful military force in the history of the world has been neutered as effectively as if shot down, sunk, or destroyed on the battlefield, by a commander-in-chief who is psychologically incapable of using them in any meaningful way?"

Guess what I'm doing this 3-day weekend instead of driving 80-odd miles round-trip for an action handgun match.

"The U.S. Forest Service on Friday published a nearly 700-word article on how to safely roast marshmallows" and someone got paid, with your taxes, to do it.

Another Quisling offering a technological and government-traceable "solution" to a training problem.

    Connect the dots:

  • "The FBI’s most recent national threat assessment for domestic terrorism makes no reference to Islamist terror threats...."
  • Border Patrol agent fires at armed militia member on the American citizen's own property where the citizen had every right to be. While actual terrorists, of multiple flavors, walk right in and get taxtheft-funded EBT cards.
  • "Reporting agencies should take care to ensure that they do not classify a killing as justifiable or excusable solely on the claims of self-defense...."

Hitting the Bar's Leaks again... and changing the oil & filter again because froth on the dipstick is the indicator.

At least I'm not missing much at the IPSC(-style) shoot. When I emailed the match director he responded that he was getting more declinations than confirmations. They might not even be having it, as I type.

The next time someone uses the word "Islamophobia" in my presence I just might nail them into a crate and ship them to Saudi Arabia Nigeria Pakistan Iraq Detroit Syria Kenya Sudan "Palestine" Sweden Australia England Jordan Canada Gaza Germany Rome Denmark Seattle the border COLLEGE New York.

  • "No one likes a hypocrite – which helps to explain why thinking people increasingly tend to dislike cops." "...[Y]ou lost our respect – and earned our contempt – a long time ago."
  • More on the Maryland Thought Police abducting an innocent citizen for writing a story. I guess I'm next....
  • More on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Death Squad. Can't Happen Here?
  • Michael G. sends, "Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley has instructed a state-run jail in Baltimore to stop honoring federal requests to detain inmates beyond their scheduled release dates in order to explore potential immigration violations...." That means violent criminal illegal aliens, including actual terrorists, get to not only stay here but walk away after the revolving door spits them out... while innocent Americans like Shaneen Allen face up to a decade for NOT HARMING ANYONE. "From the MSM, film never."
  • EuroReader M. sends, "Vampire Cops to Establish Nazi-style Checkpoints Over Labor Day Weekend - Checkpoints, 'no refusal' blood draws now standard fare during national holidays." "PROTECT AND SERVE" WHO? There is no "law" they would not enforce and no order they would not obey. Police are a hostile standing army of occupation and a state of war exists between them and we the people.
